i know it has very good potential, i got a 89 7mgte myself. Oh btw, for thos doubt on the 7m because of the head gasket, the problem is easily fixed with higher torque settings. I know this for a fact cuz its been already 7 years running strong since the original head gasket been blown

Its just a lot of hassle, it would be easier to buy a gte model and swap everything into a ge or do a 1 or 2 JZ swap

Look into the 1JZ swap issues for the 86.5-88 Supra's. I've heard that for some reason its a pain to do it as well. I guess the swap is easier for the '2nd Gen' body style Mk3s.

Hmm. I didnt think it would be two difficult. As you said they released a 1JZ in the second Gen as you call it so there would be plenty of scources for information on what it takes to get one in. If your serious about your Mk3 go a JZ, scrap the 7MGTE. 7Ms are ok but the JZs are a whole world better.

I'd want to convert it to turbo but I did my homework and found I'd be better off just buying one instead of making one. But the car was $600 and I found a complete turbo motor for $900 so if anyone wants the project, I'll help you out.
