Much as I love this song and the cute video, his vision of teenagers is a bit idealized... Maybe teenagers were like that 30 years ago... Yes, there are still teenagers like that, but many of them today are more interested in sex and alcohol than in dancing half-naked dreaming to be a superstar. Well, I was that way. and I agree, I still do that too :) I feel some sort of connection with Mika even though childhood for me was more troublesome period... not so sparkling and glamorous as in the vid

@laserdave82 Well I was one of those teenagers that drank a lot and did stupid things, but I still put more of myself into the dancing-around-my-room-like-no­-one's-watching thing! I suppose it's that transition from childhood to adulthood that makes for the clash of behaviours. I am no way associating being gay with having a Mental Disorder - on the contrary, I believe it's a conscious decision by people who are attracted (physically and mentally) to Taboo.

Taboo can be but aren't limited to, violent/disturbing movies (Quentin Tarantinto, Stantley Kubrick, and their fans - all without Mental Disorders, but are attracted to Taboo and shit that naturally, the human animal should not be attracted to).
