  • Who knew that standing up for what is right was "wrong".

    Ridiculous.

  • pirbird14, could you have been looking the wrong way? These human embryos have been called "snowflake babies" since pro-life people have been seeking to find parents to adopt them. The first one adopted was born way back in the last millenium. Look it up.

  • pirbird14, By the way, the first child adopted as an embryo was born in 1998. She is a girl, with a name and a family. What do you know? She was human all along. She even got her picture taken with President George W. Bush. Thank you for the opportunity to inform the uninformed. I am your fellow product of conception.

  • It was actually HIS mailbox -- it's in the "buffer zone" and we would be arrested if we lingered there. I am the owner of the house.

BTW: Graham won his case, he sued the city for false arrest and they settled, and then the buffer zone injunction was eventually ignored by the police.

  • it is amazing how one of the first words out of these baby killers mouths are " omg what if she got raped" so sorry you cant think of anything else to say

  • what i find really disturbing is that you blame the person for having sex but have you even considered a rape victim?

  • what i find really disturbing..is that people would allow themselves to be treated like animals.without self controll. want to know where your CHOICE is? you have the choice to NOT HAVE SEX! You are NOT an animal and you CAN controll yourself!! its a sick and twisted perception that we allow a few 'high ups' to brainwash and dictate to us that we are animals and so should act like it.. you CAN controll yourself.. you ARE a HUMAN with a MIND who can say NO, not a wrecklessly breeding animal!!!!

  • Beloitrose. Yes, we are animals. It doesn't mean we should act like wild animals. We do have birth control.

  • Be a hero, save a whale

Save a child, go to jail.

    PRO-LIFE

  • I would love to see a group of Vegans stand outside a grocery store and harass the shit out of people going in to buy meat. They would be locked up so fast their heads would spin. But as soon as the religious idiots start their crap the cops have to follow tons of rules and look the other way. Religions should be illegal. All religions are dangerous and anti human!

  • That doesn't even make sense lol. Oh there are some radical vegans here in fort lauderdale that do that to people at the meat market by my job. I'm glad they don't get arrested, they are entertaining.

  • sigh, yes abortion is bad and no1 is really 4 it, but (in my opinion) a person has every right to do whatever they want to their own body as long as it dosent endanger any1 else. these people are harassing people outside of a business, i wounder how they would like it if a group of people hung around their small business harassing their customers, bet they would call the cops 2. heres a thought worry about urselves and leave random people alone, im sure they r aware of what they r doing.

  • ok first of all that person lost that right when they had sex and second of all the devil has over come you if you think that chopping up a baby that is unable to kick and fight back unlike what you would be able to do is ok...... god pray for them for they know not what they do....... jesus.

  • Are you insane? Nobody loses any rights when they engage in sexual intercourse... what freakin' world are you from? I pray that the general public is not so misinformed.

  • This guy is a hero to free speech and freedom of assembly. To hell with those police! ...And I say that as a pro-choice atheist Libertarian. This guy has every right to strongly criticize everyone who attempts to get an abortion. If he convinces them to abort the abortion, then his ideas won, not his fists. More ower to him. Sadly, his side is totally on the side of truth and justice in this case, even though I believe they are not on any such side when it comes to abortion.

  • and how do you resolve all of the millions of spontaneous abortions that have occured due to nature and end up either flushed into the sewer or in a woman's undergarments......nature can be cruel....have you ever heard of Tay-Sachs disease??

  • How do you resolve the issue of all of these embryos created by man at fertility farms and cryogenically preserved indefinately by immursing them in liquid nitrogen??

  • It has left dead in its wake Dr David Gunn, Dr John Bayard Britton, Dr Bernard Slepian, James Barrett, Shannon Lowney, and Leanne Nichols. At least 6 other people have been shot and seriously wounded.

So much for the sanctity of life.....

  • Yes, I join you in deploring that. But what of the pro-life activists who have been murdered, attacked and threatened.

And what of the 50 million babies murdered?

I'd also like to point out that like the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s, the vast majority of pro-life leaders proclaim non-violence.

The Civil Rights movement was rife with acts of violence. Many more people were killed over the issue of Civil Rights than abortion. Does that make the Civil Rights movement wrong?

  • "But what of the pro-life activists who have been murdered, attacked and threatened."

I've been looking for a case where a pro-life activist was murdered....could you please cite one for me? Thanks.

  • Most people would be astonished to know that pro-abortionists have committed nearly 500 murders since 1966 - and this does not include live birth abortions.

For example, a pro-abortion advocate and Satanist, Eileen Janezic killed 51-year old pro-life activist minister and radio talk show host Jerry Simon - shooting him through a window of his home. After killing Simon, Janezic held police at bay with a pistol for six hours while spouting quotes from Anton LaVey's Satanic Bible.

  • "Most people would be astonished to know that pro-abortionists have committed nearly 500 murders since 1966 - and this does not include live birth abortions."

I found where you have copy/paste this your info....you have no credible citations..the website doesn't have citations either..this is the type of hyperbole that discredits the pro-life movement

  • This is what pro-abortionists usually say when faced with hard evidence.

I was just asked to give one example.

I gave five of 500 possible examples. If you want the documentation, these are all part of public record.

  • NOBODY....is PRO-abortion.....many, in fact, the majority, wishes to see the freedom and right to choose continue.....we wish to maintain the right to choose in privacy....without constant harassment from the religious right......

  • Interesting NEWSPEAK:

Killing an unborn baby = A HUMAN RIGHT

The defense of life = HARASSMENT

I've always found it ironic that pro-death advocates use "human rights" as an argument when according to our founding documents these rights are given by our CREATOR and are not to be taken away ... "among these are LIFE, liberty an the pursuit of happiness."

When did our Creator ever ordain the right to an abortion?

This is a modern humanist contrivance, not a basic human right.

  • "When did our Creator ever ordain the right to an abortion? This is a modern humanist contrivance, not a basic human right."

well, when someone in your family is dying from some previously incurable disease.....it will be the secular humanist that spends their life in a lab searching for solutions to medical problems that saves their ass.....

NOT some meaningless fool's prayers to a deity ....

  • Since the Church founded the modern hospital and supported the founding of most modern sciences, I'll thank Jesus Christ.

  • "Since the Church founded the modern hospital......"........no way, no how.....I know that you want it to be true......

modern day research and teaching hospitals are associated with universities and other secular institutions.....

  • "When did our Creator ever ordain the right to an abortion?"

you make a lot of assumptions.....who even said that there is a deity or "creator"

  • If there is no Creator, then who said there is any such thing as "human rights."

Certainly such rights can't be ordained by a higher law and without God it all comes down to might makes right. The defenseless are slaughtered at the will of the powerful and the perverse.

  • Yeah, cause no organized religion has ever slaughtered innocents.

  • You admit that the slaughter of innocents is sinful because goes against the tenets of Christ, so your problem is with hypocrites, not the truth.

  • Slaughter of innocents, yes. A fetus is not an innocent. It's a fetus. You give a term to something based on your "truth" that exists for you and you alone.

  • what is a fetus? A BABY... if you think that cutting up a baby/ fetus is ok then the devil has over come you.... i am only 13 and i am much smarter then you b/c i even know that killing a baby or any person is wronge... god pray for them for they know not what they do... - jesus.

  • Great. Now, what's a blastocyst?

  • What's a human being?

A human being is a person from the beginning of biological development.

  • Honestly, the definition of "human being" doesn't interest me much. If there is no consciousness capable of suffering, then killing a lump of cells that may technically be considered a human being is no more a tragedy to me than, say, uprooting a carrot. On the other hand, I do have a very keen interest in minimizing or eliminating the *suffering* of *all* sentient beings, regardless of whether they are human or not.

Suffering is what matters, not semantics.

  • @tripillthreat - did you know that when the majority of abortions occur the baby does in fact feel the pain and recoils against the canula the has entered the womb to tear the developing fetus limb from limb? Goggle Abby Johnson and listen to her testimony. Last year she was Employee of the Year for Texas Planned Parenthood, where she was the Director of the Clinic in Bryan Texas.

  • @tripillthreat She, for the first time, assisted a doctor as he did an ultrasound guided abortion and as she watched the fetus respond to the abortion she dropped the probe mid-procedure at the horrible realization of what she was seeing. The child was at first asleep, but then when the canula touch her, she struggled to get away. Then, the suction was turned on and she saw the limbs ripped from the body. I believe this was a 12 week fetus. Abby realized right then that what she was wrong.

  • @tripillthreat She realized that it had been a lie that this was simply "products of conception" She saw the child being killed, and she realized she could no longer lie to women that it was nothing. She left her job with no idea what she would do next to help pay the family bills. She had been slated to run the new Super Clinic that PP is building in Texas, and was making a nice salary, all of which she left behind when she saw first hand the truth of the suffering that abortion causes.

  • Webster's 11th edition online defines "human being" as "human(n)", and then defines "human(n)" as "a bipedal primate mammal (Homo sapiens) : man; broadly : hominid". It then defines "man" as : a "bipedal primate mammal (Homo sapiens) that is anatomically related to the great apes but distinguished especially by notable development of the brain with a resultant capacity for articulate speech and abstract reasoning" or "person".

In what way does the fetus display personhood or abstract reason?

  • As of May, 2003, there were 400,000 frozen embryos stored in fertility clinics in America. Most are the property of the couples who placed them there. I don't see any of these fetus fetishists trying to emancipate these frozen "human beings" from their status as chattel property - slaves.

  • @pirbird14

They have been called "snowflake babies." The first of these children to be adopted was born in 1998. Thanks for bringing attention to these precious little ones who obviously need protection and nurturing as well. Thank you for the opportunity to inform the uninformed.

  • And you give yourself worth based on a "truth" that exists for "you" and only "you" alone. But I don't regard you as human so I can kill you.

  • In 1995, the out-spoken pro-abortionist Lavern Ward murdered Debra Evans and her ten-year-old daughter. He hacked the unborn child out of Debra's body. Then he kidnapped Debra's seven-year-old son, stabbing him to death.

In 1998, pro-abortionist Byron Looper, who was running against pro-life state Senator Tommy Burks for a political office, shot Burks through the left eye with a large-caliber pistol, killing him.

  • "...pro-abortionist Byron Looper, who was running against pro-life state Senator Tommy Burks for a political office, shot Burks through the left eye with a large-caliber pistol, killing him."

I remember that case.....there was political rivalry that turned bitter but was unrelated to either candidates stand on the abortion issue..... and further ....there was no evidence of it...

  • "Lavern Ward murdered Debra Evans and her ten-year-old daughter. He hacked the unborn child out of Debra's body. Then he kidnapped Debra's seven-year-old son, stabbing him to death."

yep.....I remember....and found it on the CNN website....it''s not abortion related....she had a bunch of kids named after biblical figures....and he was a nut

  • I could claim that none of the three instances when abortionists were murdered at abortion facilities were perpetrated by TRUE pro-lifers -- but a few lone nut jobs.

On the other hand, there have been hundreds of homicides committed by abortion advocates. These are dark people who kill for a living so what is the big surprise there?

    Three, five, or 500?

It pales in comparison to 50 million abortions.

  • In 1998, a jury found pro-abortionist Alfred E. Smith guilty of murder in the death of his ex-girlfriend Deena Moody. Smith killed Deena because she refused to abort their preborn child.

  • this information is again FALSE and contrived....and further it was cut/paste from an anti-choice website......the murder had nothing to do with the pregnancy and Moody was another victim domestic violence.....according to court documents.....

  • Of course when a pro-abort murders a pro-lifer -- or anyone -- they are just being consistent with their pro-death ideology.

But then you can claim they were not being consistent with their ideology -- that it had nothing to do with their love of abortion.

  • so if we use your logic......If I were to go out and murder ...say.....a woman who just happened to be pregnant.....by your reasoning I did it because I am pro-choice.....

    pitiful....

  • No, but you are pro-death. Pro-choice is just one kind of pro-death. If an abortionist murders a born person, he is just being consistent with his murders of the unborn

  • no....and this is a typical religious response you gave.......NO ONE is pro-abortion or pro-death as you religious fanatics like to call it.....

pro-choice means that people have the FREEDOM to make choices in their life IN PRIVACY.....without being harassed by strangers motivated by religious dogma or any other moral abstraction

  • "The Civil Rights movement was rife with acts of violence. Many more people were killed over the issue of Civil Rights than abortion. Does that make the Civil Rights movement wrong?"

Of course the civil rights movement was not wrong. BUT...your argument linking pro-life activism with the civil rights movement is non sequitur in that they are tow completedly unrelated issues.

  • The Civil Rights Movement is about equality between different groups. Pro-choice v pro-life is about..the right to choose in an atmosphere of privacy without harrassment from religious groups or others

  • "And what of the 50 million babies murdered?"

BUT....these are not "babies" ...they are not neonates by any medical or legal definition....they are embryos, fetuses, blasotcysts if you will...but not "babies" semantically or otherwise....

  • And, as we are all too well aware, abortion has been at the heart of a political and cultural storm for over 3 decades it has been legally available in the United States—a particularly deadly, ugly situation

  • Since 1977, there have been more than 45, 000 reported cases of picketing, 400 cases of stalking, 41 bombings, 173 arsons, 91 attempted bombings or arsons, 619 bomb threats, 1630 incidents of trespassing, 1264 incidents of vandalism, and 100 attacks with butyric acid .

  • I won't argue with you about your statistics except to say that these are the claims of abortionists. I owned a house across the street from an abortion clinic for seven years. The owners constantly claimed about instances of violence. In the entire time I was there, I witnessed no vandalism, nor was there a single arrest or conviction.

  • The last I checked, picketing is a legal right -- although abortionists have tried to outlaw it.

The few hundred other instances (abortionists claims -- not arrests or convictions) are surprisingly low compared to other civil disobedience movements throughout history.

  • but the information that was cited is from LAW ENFORCEMENT statistics maintained by the Bureau of Criminal Justice and state law enforcement agencies....it is NOT contrived..

  • Still these are "reported" cases, not actual arrests and convictions. The M.O. of abortion clinics is to call the police for any reason at all. At Aware Woman, they would call out the bomb squad when the UPS man left a box by the wrong door. I was accused of stalking when I went to an abortionist's house TWICE to try to interview her for an article I was writing.

Those bogus calls figure into their statistics.

  • False....no there will not be arrests for disturbing the peace of civil disobedience or most violations....like traffic tickets....most Class C misdemeanors are even dismissed unless in cases of repeated offences....Class A misdemearnors or felonies on the other hand.... this is an area that I have researched for legal defense and prosecution....the numbers are not contrived.

  • You have a choice with whom to sleep with, and the choice to discuss what actions both parties would take should a pregnancy occur. You have a choice to carry to term and adopt. You have a choice not to have sex, or to take steps to prevent pregnacy and STCs (Sexually transmitted viruses)

A woman has a choice not to offer a guy penile stimulation under the guise of love.

Abortion stops a beating heart. That is murder.

  • legal abortion does not equal murder, medically or legally......if you want to be heard and taken seriously then you must present a logical argument...

  • Oh come on he was arrested cos he did not obey the officer any fool can see this was a bull shit setup by the camera man and the letter mailer and the cop knew it. Peddle your tripe somewhere else

  • Arrested for mailing a letter.

  • They said he was arrested for being in the "buffer zone."

Problem is that they only arrested people who were known to be "pro-life" and none of those arrested were named in the injunction.

The injunction said in so many words that if you were pro-life you couldn't come within 35 feet of the abortion clinic.

There were a series of court cases over this that are difficult to follow.

Bu I hope you agree it is ideological discrimination and a violation of the freedom of assembly and speech.

  • I agree its a violation of the freedom of assembly and speech we are loosing ground

    rapidly in this area. Check out this cancer;

Colorado Law Bans Bible (part 1)

  • How is it a violation? many pro-lifers attack people so the cops make them stay a certain distance away. the cops did not violate anything. I saw a bunch of people assembled there.

  • People known to be pro-abortion and on the side of the abortion clinic were arrested. Only Christian pro-life activist were arrested.

    It was a public sidewalk.

The final result is that the judge who convicted 120 people of violations died of a massive heart attack.

The courts stopped convicted people not named in the injunction. The police stopped arresting people. The pro-life sidewalk counselors got the sidewalk back -- due to Graham's (and a few others' ) challenge to the law.

  • When you write they later died i get the impression you are implying they died cos they supported abortion. Like God killed them cos of this issue. "the judge died of a massive heart attack cos he conviceted people"

  • Well, everyone dies. We are all dying.

Maybe it's a coincidence that they died just then, but what a coincidence!

It's how you live that is important to how you will be judged by God at the resurrection.

I am of the opinion that abortionists die condemned by God.

  • Then we are at the free will conumdrum. Either we have it or we dont either way there cant be any judgment or punishment involved. If we have it then we face only earthly concequences if we dont then we cant do anything God has not approved of. Neither can have punishment or condemnation involved. How does your belief system sync up that conundrum?

  • Every person is held responsible for their own actions. We are free to do as we desire, but unless God transforms our will by an act of grace, we are not free to please God.

In fact, every person deserves condemnation. God's mercy is what can save us.

  • More results:

The clinic owners sued us. Their case didn't survive summary judgment. The abortion clinic closed and they didn't have enough money to reestablish elsewhere. There are no abortion clinics in Brevard County, Florida today.

James Pendergraft, an abortionist from Orlando sued us as well. He also sued the city of Ocala at the same time. He later went to jail for extortion and lying under oath.

Their lawyer, Roy Lucas (the Roe v. Wade lawyer) went into hiding and died of cancer.

  • most cases don't stop at summary judgment and both sides always ask for it.....you weren't awarded summary judgment either

"There are no abortion clinics in Brevard County, Florida today."

So now women who need medical services have been denied such because of your irresponsible behavior. They must now travel to a clinic farther away making it an inconvenience and added cost to those who can't afford it..... Lucas died at age 61 of non-Hodgkins lymphoma....what makes you think he was hiding??

  • He was arrested for getting to close while protesting probably. If you don't know the rules of protest, why even assemble?

  • Graham later sued the city of Melbourne for false arrest and they offered a settlement.

  • So basically he kicked and whined after breaking the rules of protest and got arrested for it, whined some more, sued, and then got a settlement from it.

    Truly, the American way.

  • You are missing the point. It's got nothing to do with "rules of protest."

It's the American way to save babies.

The buffer zone was designed to keep sidewalk counselors from talking to women going to the clinic.

  • "It's the American way to save babies." I almost laughed, really.

You are a fool, the buffer zone is there, FOR ANY PROTEST, to avoid conflict between sides.

I myself have acted in a few protests, (Mainly against the Church of Scientology.).

If you're not going to obey the rules and then whine about the rules later with things like "Discrimination!" and "It's my right as an American!" then why protest at all? You might as well do something serious so you don't look so foolish in court.

  • Abortion on demand should apply until there are brain-waves and heart-beats in the unborn baby. The baby would be declared alive. After that time, if an abortion is performed, it would then be considered to be murder. This makes everyone mad...but I think this is the only practical solution...even though I think abortion is almost always wrong. When an adult's heart and brain cease functioning...they are declared dead. This shouldn't be hard...

  • So you are saying 6 to 8 weeks. Most abortions don't occur until 6 weeks. You'd effectively eliminate about 95 percent of all abortions.

The problem is that youa re givng the woman "the right to choose" until the baby can be declared human -- but what's to stop her from claiming the same right to choose to kill her baby?

This is what we are dealing with -- through modern ultrasound and intra-uterine photography, the personhood of the baby has long been established.

    People know it is killing.

  • Once there are brain waves and heart beats, the baby would be considered to be a separate and distinct human being. The mother would not have the right to decide to kill another human being. Again, this is a practical solution...but I consider nearly all abortions to be wrong.

  • Some pro-choicers have actually expressed a desire that the newly improved ultrasound technology be suppressed...less it "Challenge a woman's right to choose" In other words...lets suppress evidence, because it might you wrong.

But who careS? Liberals will ALWAYS support any measure that minimizes personal responsibility for one's actions...
