  • Un fraseo un poco afectado para mi gusto

  • chopin must be proud :)

  • ... My piano teach. Gave me this song for competition for Carnegie hall ... Never gonna be good as her version ..

  • @ZingChatVietnam

  • OMG .. I remember Tom and Jerry when I hear this music...

  • thanks for the video shwoing such beautiful hands/heart playing beautiful music

  • the best leggiero ever! extremely light and sexy!

  • I wish I could play that good.

  • I got here from ad-fly

  • Is this a DVD? I want it...

  • @monkeyBoner773 hardest thing ever ! D:

  • @monkeyBoner773

As long as they love Chopin, they can compete endlessly..

  • @welcometandil I dunno... Igoshina and Lisitsa are by far my favorite Chopin pianists, and Chopin is probably my favorite composer, but I'm not such a big fan of this piece.

  • for a second I thought she was going to burst into the simpsons theme...

  • @zeroblackstar hahahha

  • we are in 21th chentury but you play very very very good!

  • Chopin's waltzes are the best, besides Tchaikoski's and Strauss'.

  • i love how the light shines through her hair and the piano just glistens throughout

  • So beautiful. ..very smooth.

  • Sexy Performance!

  • Imagine my surprise when I just nonchalantly clicked this and then realized I played this 2 years ago ! :D

  • In Soviet Russia, piano pla- actually fuck it. She's too good for such a crap joke.

  • the grand piano sounds really nice, and well played too!

  • The last place that she visits is Hell, there she has been sent by god to start playing chopin's nocturnes and waltz's and then suddenly just stop in the middle and dissapear...It has been said by the prisoners, that it is one of the most painful experiences down there...

  • @dim19f Your comments made me laugh so hard. :P

  • Valentina performs some of the days in earth, some of the days in heaven ..In earth you can see her performing in nice venues making humans wonder how much talent and beauty can exist in our world... In heaven you can see her performing in a white piano in the midst of the blue sky trying to distract the gods from all the stupidity that takes place down on earth and also remind to the angels that they share some common characteristics with humans...

  • My girlfriend became jealous when she knew that I love this video XD

  • Best version i've heard! =)

  • " I REALLY LIKE HOUSE & PIANO!! "

  • que seca yo trato de tocar esto y no puedo hacerlo tan rapido. sos una crack

  • @tommy80jm

Decide for yourself. I think Igoshina is better.

  • she palys so well becuase she is ULTIMATELY dedicated, she has stated she practices at least 5 hours a day up to 9 hours a day. Thankful for her work ethic.

  • I like how she´s using the pedal!

  • Very elegant fingers. I feel as though my soul is soothed when I see those moving fingers. Your shaping is perfect and I love the dynamics. I absolutely love it!

  • Shes amazing

  • flawless

  • Thumbs up if you listened this song in Bugs Bunny.

  • Incredible!

  • Brilliant interpretation of my favorite Chopin waltz.

  • 13 people don´t like?? what happens to those people

  • @zampodiego2 they got blinded by the magnificence and didnt realize they clicked the dislike button

  • @drakelizard you´re right

  • Chopin was a complex composer; now imagine Bach ! Johann Strauss(first and second) did perfected that genre. It's still listenable, but who can danse those great Waltzs ?

  • She always has this fancy cloths, it makes you want to listen to her.

  • i love !! this is so well played :)

13 people lose their brain and hears when they were baby

  • now That's a what a waltz sounds like. And her f ingers look like they're dancing across the keys of the piano

  • Now if Jimmy Page could emulate this on electric guitar?...well...that would be something! All kidding aside, Miss Igoshina to me has knocked ALL past pianists out of the #1 spot for being the best. I just love to listen to her play. Now if Youtube could show her talents beyond Chopin, playing say a Beethoven sonata! WOW!

  • Amazing!!!

  • So this is what angels look like

  • those 13 people either misunderstood "dislike" for "dis i like" or don't like women playing piano:)

  • i would marry her every fucking singel day such a great woman

  • @piano361 LOL

  • @piano361 No, I first told that I will marry her. You are too late :)

  • @worras2007 i cant belive it its been a year since i maked this comment how fast the time is fading away ...

  • she's great... beautiful.. and looks like a vampire... i luv vampires...

  • @iLoveYouDAR I'm agree .. but the part with the vampires ... that's kinda sick dude ! :))))

  • such a lovely feminine touch! she definitely doesn't force her fingers...

  • that's beautiful !!

  • Incredible!!! There still are people who are real and not artificial and they don't only smoke, drink alcohol and dance in stupid night clubs, but they make art. It's great!

  • @InBrody I agree, she is brilliant. However I think it's a bit offensive to call out people who drink and go out to night clubs. That's just a life style choice and in moderation there's nothing wrong with that, it won't have any impact on someones ability nor will it make them a bad person.

  • I would have wanted to dance it with her!

  • what age is she :O

  • ...she's like an angel with those light airy fingers. entracing

  • This was a lovely performance, I could listen to this all day!

  • strangely the Henle-Verlag edition for this valse does not have the tril at the beginning. :-S

  • @Snezhinka9 Some versions do and some dont. I personally prefer it without the trill, it makes the trill added in later on less of a repetition

  • @Snezhinka9 is Henle-Verlag a urtext edition? :-O

  • @erken -yes.

  • I love Chopin!

  • Why whenever I watch her videos, I feel like I'm in the 18th Century? lol

That was beautiful playing; the most beautiful I've heard of this lovely little piece. So smooth. She plays everything so smoothly, soft and beautiful; a feminine touch. Amazing.

  • @lllllllllllllll88 BECAUSE HER PRODUCERS MAKE HER DRESS LIKE SHE'S 200 YEARS OLD.

  • @lllllllllllllll88 Oh God I know... I'm like...what the heck is she wearing?

  • @lllllllllllllll88

If you felt like you were in the 18th Century that means something is either wrong with you or her... because Chopin was from the 19th Centuries... music during 18th century were wayyyyyy different... Dont mistook Romantic for Classic...

  • @superxinyang i think he was talking about the visuals of the videos, not the music. e.g. her dress

  • @superxinyang

They probably just made a mistake. Some people automatically see the '18' in 18th century and assume that it means the 1800's. There is no need to put someone down for making a simple mistake, because I'm sure you make mistakes all the time.

  • @lllllllllllllll88 if ur mistaken, 18th century means 1700s. cuz Romantic music including chopin's was during 1800s, u gotta feel more like in 19th century

  • @vkvkvk1219 - Okay, thank you...

  • @lllllllllllllll88

yes i agree with you, what she wears and the way she plays really makes you feel that you've traveled back to the past.

and this is some classy person playing it back in the days.

keep up the good work valentina, i really love your nocturnes too!

  • @lllllllllllllll88

    Agreed

  • @lllllllllllllll88 it's the dress.

    watch?v=5GGOPRbZ8NY

    thanks and all the best

  • I could be entertained for hours just by the first two notes she plays. Those fingers...

  • ためいき。

    こんな優雅で美しい「子犬のワルツ」を聴いたことがありません。

  • She plays everything so beautifully. So musically. So stunning. I bet she could make beautiful music out of Chopin Revolutionary Etude. lol

  • The song is beautiful and the way she plays it is the reflection of what she feels for this song, and her having love for it, makes the song beautiful and heart warming

  • I think she plays this incredibly well. I also think she is amazingly beautiful and that I am madly in love with her. I also hear my wife approaching.....so...a hasty farewell.

  • I'm just a student learning this. Hopefully I can play as beautifully as this one day. :)

  • her fingers look quite strange, but its beautiful!

  • she owns all living chopin players including Yundi Li.

  • I never cared much for this piece. But her interpretation is so playful, so light, so delicate I find myself listening to it over and over again in sheer delight.

    Really an extraordinarily gifted musician.

  • I like how the light's reflecting on her. She's very pretty (: and also, great piece. :D

  • Nice video!! watch me playing Walz in A major/minor!, search "PianoWhiteAndBlack" the best version every1 ever heard~

  • she looks like an old fashioned porcelain doll

  • She reminds me of a doll. She's very smooth, and light. I like it!

  • excellently done. not too fast or rushed. And without the banging on the keys that most people do.

  • just a minute!;)

  • beautiful x

  • SShe is like a fairy...so gorgeous and ecxelent!!!!!

  • i am currently learning this song... it's so very beautiful like most chopin waltz s are. but she puts the song very uniquely .

  • cool

  • Breathtaking !

  • Only God could create someone as beautiful and talented as she

  • only God could create someone as beautiful and as talented as she is

  • i'm currently studying this piece and it's SO DAMN HARD!!!!!! thanks for the vid by the way

  • Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love softness. This is enjoyable with no harshness to the sound. Simply, beautiful !

  • She plays beautifully!

I hope to play as well as her. I also wish I had that grand piano too. :P lol

  • perfect interpretation. i bet this was the way chopin heard it when he wrote it.....chopin was sooooway ahead of his time with his compositions...beautiful.

  • Wow... Amazing... I love Valentina!!

  • por que se viste como en el siglo XVIII???

  • i wonder if Chopin himself played this piece in a minute or under... beautiful...

  • ... "Minute" for this means "Small", many people don't know this...

  • bah, amazing! She plays so effortlessly; this is hands down my favorite interpretation! her dynamics and shaping are well thought out and well placed to create a euphonious performance. her runs: clear. her balance: perfect. This is perfection, right here (:

  • My absolute favourite interpretation. I would not change a single thing. Her touch is just perfect!

  • Outstanding!!! She makes it look so easy

  • I like this video She IS SIMPLY AMAZING AND MARVELOUS!

  • excellent!!

  • perfetta! Bravissima!

  • It is "the My-nute (small) waltz". Never meant to be butchered in 60seconds.

  • @mrjlowitz Was this in 60 seconds? Hm..last time I checked it was more than a minute long.

  • @mrjlowitz Mozart was Polish and originally it's not "My-nute". It's more like "Minute waltz" or "Walc minutowy". Name was given by some audience. When this piece was first performed, someone shouted 'but this only lasted for a minute!' or 'Alez to trwalo zaledwie minute!'. Greetings from Poland.

  • @mrjlowitz yup, and too many ppl seem to mistaken my-nute(small) with mi-neet(60seconds -.-)

  • wow shes great

  • Happy 200th Birthday Chopin!

  • she's amazing...the sound the expressions...chopin is so much harder than he sounds...she's simply epic!

    5*****

  • I want to dance with her soo bad...

  • Surely "dance" is a euphemism?

  • @AvidHobbyist uh?

  • Silvi have you no sense for music? Only facts? It is famous for being played in one minute but sounds a lot better in 2 mins.

  • Probably my favourite Chopin intepreter.

  • silviufuicu, you're kiddin' me, right?

    fuckin' hilarious!

  • its called 1 minute because its short, not because it has to be 1 minute. ridiculous to make this 1 minute long because of the name that wasnt even given by Chopin.

  • not perfect? you don't get much closer to perfect then this. hah.

  • I've seen/heard so many versions of this waltz. Rachmaninov, Rubenstein, Kissin, Erev, kultishev, Li.

This is the best interpretation... Just perfect.

  • ΚΑΤΑΠΛΗΚΤΙΚΗ!!!!!

  • Crap like f00000k!")/()/¤&%(¤Q"

  • wah, her hands r literally dancin!!! wish i cud do that

  • OMFG her hands!

  • The way her fingers move is amazing! The percussive touch needed to bring out the melody yet so light... Ah - how I wish mine would do that!

  • Chopin is soo hard to play the tempo is perfect...i think theat you play with yor heart.

  • It looks so easy when she plays it... BUT IT'S HARD WHEN IT'S ME, fishtre...

  • It's beautiful and amazing, because what she is doing is truly Art....

  • OH MY GOOOSH. I wish I could do that. So amazing.

  • The play marker has a camera in it. It watches you watch the video.

  • im learning this for my high school tryout

  • If you aren't a purist/classicist and willing to listen to a new twist on Chopin, check out my jazz renditions of Chopin!

  • Ighoshina's light fingers fascinate me.

There is something so aerially feminine that makes me fall in love with her playing.

  • @oryia1 I am also fallen in love with this woman too :D

  • Wow this is played like a waltz, everyone else plays it like a horse race.

  • @killingangel707 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! SOOO TRUEEE LMAAAOO

  • @killingangel707 Evgeny Kissin dosen,t

  • Wow! Gorgeous and prodigiously talented!
