Hey nice. I guess our Little shop shows are running at about the same time. I put some vids up of mine too.
I like this plant. It's not at all bad, for a presumptivly home-made one. The lip syncing went pretty well too. I wish the plant didn't sing an octave low though.
The plants in both the video and the play are most certainly basses, and sing in a lower octave. If your school has a tenor playing Audrey II, he's probably singing higher due to his range.
That's not at all true. To the untrained ear, the rich timbre of the voices used in broadway and the movie (moreso broadway than the movie) may seem like bass voices, but they are indeed tenor, just as it's written in the music. This also happens with opera tenors. Listen to some Pavarotti.
haha thats my brother in the plant hahaha they play was pretty amazing

We borrowed it from some other group,I think.
Josh was really good at the lip syncing. Our director was so proud of him on the first day he did it.
Was it really an octave lower than it should've been? :/ That's how Nick learned it.Was your voice a tenor or bass?

He was a tenor. I have a video up on here of him doing git it.

I saw...I thought so.Nick's a bass,so it was bound to sound different.

Well most casting directors think he's a bass so they cast him that way before they learn otherwise. Still I think he turned out pretty well.

Fal and Ms. Ryan are among them. But Nick is very talented,so it all worked out in the end. ^^
