  • did they play this in a shopping mall?

  • both players look like they dont care lol

  • This guy is sooooo lame, his game is sooooo boring and beginner

  • @PingPongGod1 - Oh yeah, what's really "boring and beginner" is some clod who probably is about the 3rd best at his local club talking smack about a guy with a USATT rating about 500 - 1,000 pts higher than his.

  • white boys in dallas think they are sooo good in table tennis,,, ridiculous. Some coaches in dallas, irving think they are the world class, ridiculous... Dallas TX table tennis is soooooo over rated, players are cocky and the organizing is horrible.

This is the most boring match ever.

  • @alaforetnoire lol shes so good she makes everyone look bad

  • Ah, the Chinese send a female player, and she wins the whole event.

  • he was given a head start...then banggggg......

  • Unimpressed with Zhang's winning this tournament. Hell I'm more impressed Zhang even cared enough to join this Tournament!!

  • Mark Hazinski came to my school!

  • hazinski no juega nada..................

  • I'm sooo high right now and i go on youtube typing Hazimski, then i get hazinski and then i watch ping pong.... woaw greeeaaaatt!

  • this is a joke...american table tennis sucks...

  • zhang yining is over 9000!

  • she makes mark look like an amateur...matter of fact is he an amateur..lol

  • Fortunately USA have a number of rising female stars that will surely hit the TOP 50 in world ranking. Sadly people don't enjoy them as much as the mens world ranked players.

Females are fun to watch in my opinion because their game is usally right off the bounce and they have really nice quick backhand battles! :)

  • My dream is to get to watch some of the 2900+ players in action!!! They are actually entertaining and keep their game on top! They are the TRUE ATHLETES of this sport. Any person who doesn't consider "ping pong" a sport, obviously has never seen the professionals play the real sport..."table tennis"

    I consider 2800+ professional :)

    2950+ are GODS!!! haha

  • I consider 1800* professional ;-) lmao

  • battle of the sexes lol

  • Players with rating like 1700-2000 could sometimes get lucky and beat one another. But, when you put 2400 against 2600. 2400 player has NO shot unless the 2600 player is horribly off their game. They have to be completely off to loose to a 2400 player.

The highest is David Zhuang at 2697. He was once a 2760. Now, David playing a 2900 back when he was 2760, still, would of been slaughtered. The top world players are easily in the 2970-2990 range. Waldner was around 2999 LOL.

  • Not true, Lupulesku is 2781... He's the highest..

  • not necesarily true...the only difference between a 2200 and a 2600 is playing time and cardio...

  • if mark is 2600

then zhang yining should be like 3500

then wanq liqin should be like 3800

  • Haydonelee93 I totally understand where your coming from. 2600 is dirt compared to top players in the world.

sadly, there arent enough good players in the states so these 2600-2700 players could excell. they need 2800-2900 players to play against and train with. a lot of them at best have a few 2300 players...really not helpful for them. :(

3000 IS THE HIGHEST RATING IN THE USA. keep in mind that the higher it goes, the value increases. and 2700 in comparison to 2850 is HUUUUUUGE!!!

  • and Ma Lin @ 4000!

  • No, Ma Lin is OVER 9000!!!!

  • @haydonlee93 Then Wang Hao, Ma Long, Xu Xin, Zhang Jike, and other people that beat him regularly should be like, 3900- 4200?

  • @59awesomeness actually they're around 3000. the higher it goes, smaller differences mean more.

if you look at old records, top players did play us open. there's records of ma lin at 2800, kong linghui 2900, etc.

  • who won the tournament?

  • USATT Open Singles Final: Zhang Yining (CHN) bt Lei Zhenhua (CHN) 12-10, 11-5, 11-6

Zhang won both the Open and the Women's event.

  • USATT ratings are overrated. We have a bunch of cocky members here in our table tennis league in Dallas. They brag about there ratings were in fact its nothing compared to the rest of the world.

  • @quickzilver333 LOL I know!!! It's too funny how some of these 2400-2600 players behave. They are nobodies when they go to second division leagues.

  • @Care4URchameleon Humor me. How exactly do they behave?

  • @quickzilver333 USATT ratings are not universal so how can you say they are overrated compared to the rest of the world when they don't have a USATT rating?

  • @TheTabletennisgod Because thats all they can brag about their USATT ratings. LOL! I live in dallas tx and I have seen how Texas Wesleyan Players play. They are cocky as hell.

  • @quickzilver333 what part of dallas? are you talking about the guys at texas weslyan? i'd say usatt ratings are a decent representation of skill level. it's a little different than the other types of rating systems, but it's not too bad. hazinski at his best is like 2600-2700 according to usatt, and that's considered to be fairly mediocre internationally but great in the US

  • @plot000000 I have played all over Dallas, Richardson and Plano. I have seen players with egos way up there. I have no problem with the Wesleyan Players. They are very professional when it comes to tournament. I have however met a bunch of cocky players that brags about their ratings then whine and cry when they lost to unrated player like me :) I have one guy came up to me and said he is a professional player with a 2000rating. Then brags about beating a 1600player.

  • @quickzilver333 ah, i was an active player in plano about 5 or so years ago. guess i was lucky not to have run into bad people. but I can see where you're coming from. i was never super competitive so the people at my level were usually pretty chill

  • @plot000000 The Plano TT club is growing. I use to play at Dona Chens club but it's a long drive because I live in Plano.

  • Mark is "good", only because players in America arn't good (relatively). Unless Mark learns how to move and refine his technique, he's about reached his cap and won't break the 2500ish range. CHINESE REPRESENT!!!

  • i just want to know why these matches...is it for the public?...it makes no sense she being here in the states playing low quality players...

  • This was an invitational tournament organized by Killerspin (TT company), with some matches produced for TV. Zhang Yining didn't only play "low quality players", she also beat Lei Zhenhua and Lucian Blasczcyk. Chen Qi was there too but apparently chose not to play against Zhang...

  • btw I love Zhang Yining

  • im sorry but lei and lucian are still not good enogh to beat zang..i havent even seen the match but i imagen she won...if you want ppl to really come to these things....play zang vs wang..ma long vs timo....ppl want to see top competition...but these games are boring we know the outcome already...

  • lmao, Zhang was barely trying for the whole match. especially in the first game, she literally just gave mark a 5-10 lead to be nice and caught up to beat him 12-10. notice her shot placements in the 1st game after 5-10, they were all to Mark's middle or wide backhand instead of right to his backhand like before. it was no coincidence she caught up and won 7 straight points

  • zang yining looks so nerves with handsome guy thats why she not serius. when she is serious probably mark cannot find up to 5 point with her.you can figure it out when women world tt #60 jing wen beat all man best player from canada they`re #270 . zhang is #1 meet mark #360 ? mama miaaa...

  • he bit his racket! Maybe I should try it.

  • His technique is not efficient and I stopped watching because he was boring. Zhang was not even warm.

  • She won =)

  • wads mark's position in men table tennis? he's no. wad seed?he plays so lousy

  • the service is quite good tho

  • man the dude sucks!

  • you probably can't beat him anyways. He is pretty good but compared to playing her he will definetly lose. She represents China!

  • @tmwee21 - He doesn't "suck", he was just outgunned. He would crush you and 99% of everyone else in the U.S. She's only the greatest women's player in the history of the world--and there's not THAT much difference between women and men in this sport, not like basketball.

  • Am i the only one who think that she is funny when smashing against lob?:D

  • no, i think that's great form

  • yeah, girls in table tennis should use skirt instead of short pants. like in tennis..

  • dude..its a skirt..not a dress

  • i think she is quite pretty... and she plays as hell!

  • 2 times olympic champion ;)

  • zhang is wearing a dress :O
