Could be this is only a resonance effect, i.e. resonance frequency for the magnet lifting/vibrating is met. And at high efficiency also since the back emf energy also is used to move the magnet.
So the back emf is not lost as heat, but used to do work.
I don't think it has to do with resonance as it behaves the same way at different frequencies. It looks like it is all caused by the back emf being redirected in the coil that is causing this. Also see test 2 video as there are some good comments there that explains some of this. Also read the Overunity forum topic (link in description box next to video)
I understand when you pulse the coil your trying to repel the magnet, once you loop the Flyback voltage back into the coil which is just as the Field collapses, it gets an extra pop of energy.

yes! you have that perfectly correct and It seems that extra pop comes at no extra cost of energy.
Varying the speed of the dremel motor changes the frequency and since the spacing between the reeds stays the same then the on time reduces as frequency rises or the other way around if the speed drops.

When the coil is switched off it takes the collapsing field (which is now going at opposite direction of the original activating current) and the diode sends it back in the coil the way the original current was going in, so there is no reversing of the field. I wish it was reversing.

My first test setup was using a mosfet as a switch. It was capable of taking up to 600 volts but I found no benefits with voltages over 200v as the current started climbing. Maybe the coil length needs to be longer as the voltages goes up.
More testing needs to be done to come to understand or use this effect.
You should look into leedskalnin perpetual motion holder, which, I think, circulates current , backemf and backemf field between 2 coils on the same core.

I'm sorry but I think you're not understanding the test. The rotary switch power is always connected to the coil and is not strong enough to move the magnet. When I press the switch, all it does is re-directing the collapsing field back in the coil. No extra energy is added!... in fact, the power consumption goes down when I do this and the result is making the magnet levitate WITH NO EXTRA ENERGY.

You could use the relay, wich is controled by 555 timer instead of motor and reeds. it`s easy to adjust and mode efficient.

You have achived a virtual doubling of the hertz rate by tapping the coil twice with the same pulse, great work!
And if that is so, and the coil is resonating, then you have reached a new harmonic of resonance.
Tesla seemed to infer that the higher the voltage used the greater the results.
