And only having one herb of life is bad, not that you skill is bad, but is is better to have full in all healing items, but dont worry, I had none of it when I was fighting this son of bitch:) But recap, use auto.aim you do it by standing still and pressing the B button, and ruy automatically aim at the archfiend. This boss is frustrating, start with a lvl 2 charged arrow (automatic, dont manual aim), then immediately perform void ninpo (automatic). Repeat this process 3 times each time you go up a level. Also use the vigoorian flail against the flying blue skulls (they will release blue orbs).
This boss is one of the easiest fights in the game. all you have to do is dash-jump twice to the left or right and then chrage the arrow and let the computer aim and its perfect everytime. type in "Reim's Ninja Gaiden II Master Ninja Commentary Series: Chapter 14 Part 3"
in the search and skip half way through it. This guy does it on master ninja without getting hurt.
lol u guys shouldnt use ur Life of a thousand gods right away, save them until u get to the boss, and when ur down to ur last herb or grains, use those.... same with the regular life of gods. If ur about to die and u have ninpo, use it with maxed fire ball thing. it keeps u from dieing and they cant dodge right after they attack

Thanks guys, the first and second bosses were no problem, the third boss was hard. I didnt use any health powerup for the 1st and 2nd boss or third boss and soo I had loads left for the last boss.
A little tip for this boss - DO NOT AIM YOURSELF!! I can't stress enough how much harder this makes the whole fight! Just auto-aim, this is much more accurate and there's a bigger chance of success than aiming yourself.

I played Ninja Gaiden 2 on Path of the Mentor difficulty and still thought the only way to beat this bitch was to keep aiming at his head, but it looks like you can also fire at his mouth. I still wonder if Ninpos would be effective against him. By the way, who is the boss after this one?
That is so good to know about the arrows, b/c the Piercing Void is more challenging to get twice off, and for it to hit both times... This boss has been killing my health. So I am trying to conserve my 1 grain of health, life of the gods, mursami's delights, and talesman's for the final boss battle.
I am pretty salty that the vigorian flails are not as reactive as the skulls come pouring down...
Well, depending on what Chapter you're in, there may be more Talisman of Rebirths. My friend sent hors trying to beat Alexei on the medium difficulty. I told him to use the Talisman, but he wanted to save it until the Archfiend. He finally beat him without the Talisman, only to find another one on the next chapter, what a waste!
So maybe if you're on a low chapter, like maybe three or four, just try to use the items and buy more at the future Muramasa shops.
Dagra Dai was easy but you have to make sure the on the way are alive because than he can't summon his minions and when you're facing the archfiend don't aim him in the head just charge the bow to max power and then shoot Ryu wil shoot the archfiend automaticly in the head and belly use the art of piercing void and aim it if the belly is blue DUH! your art of piercing void must be on lv 2 or 3 3 is better trust me it will work
Easy way to beat dagra is to use Scytche, and do not take distance from him, just hit and hit him over and over again :D dont stop just spam at him and don't get away from him, keep at him till he dies.
what pisses me off about this game is that the enemies are too fucking cheap,This game favors skill but what is the point of skill with grabbing,explosions,bad camera,etc.Its like building a bomb just to see it explode.
I could beat the final boss if those blue ghost skulls didn't appear at random so quickly. I could never see when they're coming out after the first time. They drop blue essense, but they're so small and somewhat rare, you might as well not try to get them.

a big problem people have is that they manually aim the arrow just start chargin the bow and ryu wil automatically shoot his head however even when thats done he also auto-aims at the orb so all u do is sidestep the fallin blood chargeshoot sidestep to the other side rinse and repeat

Bit in Ninja Gaiden 2 some bosses are even tougher, that one I'm stuck on it for hours. I don't like that so I came here...
That's the toughest boss I've seen since Doom 3 ( the final boss ).
It reminds me of the crazy boss fight in Snes days ( anybody saud Cybernator, Mr Nutz or Skyblazer ).

god i hate this guy, I wasted my only herb on the 1st boss so I was forced to beat the blood lady and the priest guy with nothing, and zero majic. I finally did it only to discover this guy. thans for showing me how to actually hurt him, now I may be able to. Question: Am I given an opportunity to heal between this guy and the last boss?

I played Ninja Gaiden 2 on Path of the Mentor difficulty and still thought the only way to beat this bitch was to keep aiming at his head, but it looks like you can also fire at his mouth. I still wonder if Ninpos would be effective against him. By the way, who is the boss after this one?

That is so good to know about the arrows, b/c the Piercing Void is more challenging to get twice off, and for it to hit both times... This boss has been killing my health. So I am trying to conserve my 1 grain of health, life of the gods, mursami's delights, and talesman's for the final boss battle.
I am pretty salty that the vigorian flails are not as reactive as the skulls come pouring down...

Well, depending on what Chapter you're in, there may be more Talisman of Rebirths. My friend sent hors trying to beat Alexei on the medium difficulty. I told him to use the Talisman, but he wanted to save it until the Archfiend. He finally beat him without the Talisman, only to find another one on the next chapter, what a waste!
So maybe if you're on a low chapter, like maybe three or four, just try to use the items and buy more at the future Muramasa shops.

Dagra Dai was easy but you have to make sure the on the way are alive because than he can't summon his minions and when you're facing the archfiend don't aim him in the head just charge the bow to max power and then shoot Ryu wil shoot the archfiend automaticly in the head and belly use the art of piercing void and aim it if the belly is blue DUH! your art of piercing void must be on lv 2 or 3 3 is better trust me it will work

Dagra Dai wasn't that easy for me. In the middle of a combo, he would teleport before I finish, then do that stab-n'-grab move.

Easy way to beat dagra is to use Scytche, and do not take distance from him, just hit and hit him over and over again :D dont stop just spam at him and don't get away from him, keep at him till he dies.

what pisses me off about this game is that the enemies are too fucking cheap,This game favors skill but what is the point of skill with grabbing,explosions,bad camera,etc.Its like building a bomb just to see it explode.

I could beat the final boss if those blue ghost skulls didn't appear at random so quickly. I could never see when they're coming out after the first time. They drop blue essense, but they're so small and somewhat rare, you might as well not try to get them.

i finally beat this boss by using phoenix and arrows, and i have to died atleast 15 times to beat the last boss and beat this fucking game. i finish ninja gaiden on the nes, ninja gaiden2 on nes and NG II on the 360, wow.

a big problem people have is that they manually aim the arrow just start chargin the bow and ryu wil automatically shoot his head however even when thats done he also auto-aims at the orb so all u do is sidestep the fallin blood chargeshoot sidestep to the other side rinse and repeat
