  • All your comments about Windows 7 being slow are because your own incompetence. The only reason why w7 is so laggy on your mac is because OS X is way too bloated to fit in 2GB of ram. Your notebook is swapping all the time. Before bashing Microsoft better get your facts straight.

    Sincerely yours,

    A Mac User.

  • Please help! I just got Windows 7 on my mac today and everything runs great but for one problem: I have no internet!!! When on Lion I have internet but I can't connect to it on Windows 7. i'm using VMware and I've tried messing with the Network settings but got nothing. Please tell me if you have a solution!

  • Hey Ryan, I'm trying to install Windows 7 in VM3 it starts the install process and is looking for Drivers. Any ideas?

  • I just recently bought windows 7 disk and followed the steps vmware fusion gave me.

But my true question is can I uninstall it and get my 40 gigabytes back?

Can you please please respond to this as quick as possible.

  • will this partition your hard drive

  • @applemanipodmac no it doesn't. Boot Camp does that. Fusion just runs Windows virtually on top of OSX.

  • U should stop smoking its bad

  • If I was running parallels on 2GB of RAM, I'd probably take up smoking too.

  • True, true.... it should be done with at least 4GB. But definitely possible on 2GB.

  • Haha, it wasn't really a stab at the hardware used for this presentation, more that the smoking comment wasn't at all relevant to the video subject.

  • how do i install the driver it says i have no driver on the windows 7 install screen

  • is there a way to install windows 7 on a mac fully without vmware

  • ya man, use boot camp. Google it. So when you start up the Mac, you have a choice between Mac OSX and Windows/ or Linux

  • yeh now i just have to wait til i get a mac lol

  • Yes, all macbook pro's (I'm not too sure about the standard macbook models) come with bootcamp pre-installed. You can run windows, the only reason VMware was developed was for the advantage of running both operating systems at the same time.
