  • I changed tire size; 120 in front and 140 rear about 8 months into Riding it.. Made HUGE improvement in riding; bridgestone bt090's

  • This 250 did 115mph topped out, granted I am a female; only 130lbs and I sold this bike for 3.5k.... I miss it everyday too :(

  • how did you changed the tire size? its comes wit 130 in the rear..

  • I dont understand why anyone buys this bike...you get a few years old 600cc with the same price as this is. My first bike was Honda CBR 600rr and I did fine, even though I was a beginner. Just take it easy the first miles. This bike is way too expensive for a 250, I would understand much better if this would be real cheap! But it isnt, just add a few more bucks and get a real bike instead of this toy.

  • @jadedpill What kind of fender eliminator you got on that?

  • its now about 4k

  • The bike... ARROUND 5k

  • how much did u paid?? FOR THAT???

  • This a slip on or Full exhaust?

  • yea u right u wouldent no it if it dident say it cuz ask me is it a 650......... mine is the 2010 250r i dont really no the difference be it a great bike and Fast!

  • a lot of you talking shit honestly probably couldn't even ride the 250 to its full potential. and i know a guy that can, and has out run a gsxr 600 on a ninja 250 on a curvey road. its all about the rider not the bike

  • @frosty4232 couldn't of said it better myself dude.

  • @TH3xSHR3DD3R i hate when people say shit like a 600 is too small when i know they couldnt even ride the damn thing in a straight line without getting scared

  • sounds pretty good.

  • Lovely sound.

  • wow yoshimura just rocks!!!!!!!!!

  • barulho de cb500... e barulho de cb500, fica bom em CB500....

  • im lookin for a good bike, iv been riding dirt bikes since i was ten, now im 16 5'4" on a crf 150, what would be a good sport bike for me?

  • Cool bike! Cool Exhaust! Cool You!

  • with so many bikes out there, which version is best to learn on?

  • hey jadepill, nice bike, how big of a difference is there when you change the back tire an front tire? do you see the bike riding better, does it slow down? let me no thanks?

  • that sound makes me die inside. i love it.

  • wonderful sound

  • HELLO I AM OF BRAZIL, great, incredible sound of the exhaust, the exhaust TRS has the same development of the TRC, which application, FULL SYSTEM, you can buy a three full system?

  • Does sound like a wrx with exhaust but it sounds better than a stock 250. Did you feel any diff in performance at all? and did u have to jet it?

  • nice..

  • whatever it is, i'd ride it and it's a powerfull 250 bike i've ever ride.

  • what exhaust will make the loudest noise for this sportbike?

  • in most applications D&D

  • sound like the paradise for me lol

  • sounds like a wrx with an exhaust

  • Unfortunately this bike doesn't sound as much like a sport bike as I would like it to.

It sounds like a ball bearing in a paint can to me. Or a lawnmower.

  • it's using parallel twin engine. of course it won't sound like an inline-four.....

  • There are other twin engines that sound like proper sports bikes

  • why do people come on youtube search ninja 250 exhaust then talk trash about it? Ive riden 600 and ive riden the 08 250, 250 is a fun little bike i think of it as a beefed up dirtbike and i plan on getting the 250 as a frist bike b/c 1. its cheap for a brand spankin new bike, and the innsurance is a little cheaper

  • doesnt the exhaust kinda sound like an UEL header on a scoob too??

  • after having this bike since July 18th of 2008; I can say that this is the best bike for a beginner by far...yeah I suppose I went overboard with the yoshi slip but I am a girl, I like asthetic and sound beauty...everyone that i ride with knows it is me when riding down the street. i have finally put on front galfer steel brake line and replaced my tires with bridgestone battleax BT090, went from 110 in front to 120 and a 140 rear...let me tell you...HUGE*** difference to change the tires..

  • For the tires, is that an increase in the width of the tires? What was the difference?

  • Is 120 and 140 is good? Or standard is good? I cant understand it =/ Can u tell me? Sorry for my English..

  • @jadedpill tats good to noe.. im getting it soon too..;[-) but curious to noe how many liters of engine oil does the 250r need? tnks

  • @jadedpill

    nice. I have the 2 bro's on my 250r.

Did you notice a difference when you changed the tires? I want to go wider, but I'm worried about any decrease in handling.

  • @jadedpill I've known so many people including myself that have experience in 600's and 1000's that end up going to a ninja 250, it's a really good bike.

  • @jadedpill i wanna buy a bike like this now i like it from the vids if i buy it i want to customise it a bit. I wanna put digital gauges wider tires better brakes and exaust from akrapovic ... i like this bike and i belive it is fun to ride :D

  • dude..

    just like how i wanted.

  • dude that bike will do 115 120 it got alot more power then the honda reble...so u shoud shut the bike up kawi did a good job re makeing the ninja 250r the only reson u proble new it was a 250 was cuz it says 250.nice sound.but i think 2 brothers is a lil bit louder and its shoter so wights less so i went with 2bros.but nice..where u live mayb we can get up an go ridin sometime?

  • Won't do 120mph, sorry.

But I agree with whatsagixer. Yoshi pipes are VERY expensive and it's rather a waste of money on a bike which is that slow..

  • ive gotten it to 115ish, but that was on a downhill and happen to look down and i was killing the motor at 13k rpms ha...redline is 12 for anyone who cares...

yoshi is expensive but i like the way it sounds and looks, so shoot me hahah

  • @jadedpill even though it migh be expensive, when you decide to upgrade you can easily put the stock back on the 250 and put the yoshi on your new bike. Definately NOT a waste of money. You get what you pay for - the best exhaust for a 250cc motorbike.

  • TRUTH!!!

  • @jamiebridges123 mine does

  • @rodan9 not saying you're lying bud, just basing figures from the magazines that i ride, about 100-115 maximum is what i'm seeing.

still. =) we're all friends here lol

  • @jamiebridges123 Stock will never do 120mph but with a few mods it is possible but your pushing the engine past its limits, you could be doing engine damage which is why i don't spend much time at that speed.

  • im in north louisiana

  • @yamaharider438 This bike will do max 100-105, maybe 110 with an exhaust like this one and mass mods..

  • jealous? haha

barely go on the highway? are you kidding me?...I own a bike, highway no thanks and only when i need to, but ill take back roads anyday and probably beat up on you hahah

  • Well if you dont like the bike why are you watching a video on it? and if you are like me in the UK at 17 you can't go on the highway anyway untill you are 2 years in. How about searching for things you like?

  • spoken like a true squid, go have fun on your gsxr little squiddy, while the OP has fun riding what they ride you can go to your little gixxer meets and talk about how cool your bikes are and how fast they are in a straight line

  • What are you talking about? Most highway speeds are 60 mph, with some reaching 70 on interstates. That's plenty for a bike like this, and can be attained with little effort. Even pushing the bike you will get upwards of 100+ mph, which is fast enough for a lot of people.

250's are good beginner bikes, and they have excellent fuel economy. Not everyone wants to go 165 mph and act like a moron, jacking up insurance rates for everyone else in the process.

  • Maybe in America mate. Over here the legal limit is 70mph, and even so 60% of people are going 80mph or more. I find myself cruising at 80-85mph which is just above the vibes on my Z750.

Talking of fuel economy, i can get 60mpg from my bike and it'll only do about 140mph! on top of that, i'm 17 years old and my insurance is only £545, which is about $700 I'd guess, for a year. Guess I am not a moron ? :D :D :D

  • Well you have to consider what I am saying in response to that troll "Whatsagixer". He probably rides around in a tanktop and flip-flops on weekends, and then hops on youtube to troll videos to show what a badass he is.

Regardless of the circumstances of your post, you have to admit that what I say is true about the bike itself. Even if most people go 80-90, you can still keep up on a 250, even if you might be pushing the engine a bit far.

  • Lol :x

    Maybe maybe. :oo

  • Are you Fucking kidding? what insurance company are you using cause i fuckin need it. Me (at 17 in the UK) to insure a 250 ninja is £1000. Where'd you get ures from?

  • @TheReapersSon not only just for begginers . lol i still smoke all my friends on there 600's and 1000's when it comes to the twisties . thats why i would give up my zx6r before my 250r . anyone can ride a big bike fast when going straight .

  • @adamallup

Pretty much. It's the rider, not the bike. While outright performance will be greater on a larger bike with more displacement, the actual ability of the rider to take advantage of all that power is questionable in most cases.

I ride a 650R, but I still have respect for the new 250R's. The only real downside to the 250R's is the stock suspension, but you can say the same thing about an SV650. Thankfully fork swaps are commonplace, and relatively inexpensive to perform.

  • @adamallup

Nice to know some people still have some common sense, and aren't all about society status and showmanship.

  • @whatsagixer this is coming from a punk that has "gixer" in his name, get a life noobsauce

  • sounds really nice!

  • sounds badass. this is def one of the better sounding 250s i heard. could you do a vid on that fender cut off you did. you did a great job making it look clean. i'd like to mount my plate there too but afraid ill fuck it up. thanks man

  • appreciate the props... i just drilled 2 holes into the plastic, just shy of hitting the battery, the only thing that doesn't exactly fit is the plate hits the brake line reservoir but not drastically enough to be annoying

  • hey where abouts are u ? i got the same bike .. are u in melbourne ? wanted to know if u would like to join the kawasaki ninja 250r club in melbourne

    cheers

    sean

  • I have a 250 aswell...howd you get your back light that?

  • i cut off the rear fender...was that the question?

  • slipon was 400 with shipping i believe....no need for full system its only a 250...the slipon does the job:)

  • Did you still need to rejet?

  • yeah, still need to rejet just haven't gotten there yet.

  • it will run fine if u dont rejet it u only need to rejet it if u go to pull pipe..its not a good but just for a heads up people told me not to rejet with slip on becuase there is a catlict conver in the stock pipe by the V where the 2 comes together.you can burn it up for riching it up.i woold live it stock jetting unless u go full pipe.just a thought so u dont burn it up and need pipe from the heads of the motor to the slip

  • How much cost this exhaust?

  • was about 350...not too bad
