My 6 yr old daughter has hair down to the small of her back and says she wants to grow it this long :0)!  I just trimmed off about an inch to keep it healthy - I wonder how many years it will take to get it past her rump?

@HoshiHikari it doesn't matter how long your hair is, generally people only shampoo their scalp/roots so she'd use the same amount of shampoo as everyone else. maybe less considering her hair has to be SUPER healthy to get that long and shampoo is bad (dries out hair and strips it of healthy natural oils). conditioner is applied to the tips of the hair to keep it from getting dry, she probably uses oils to keep her hair moisturized vs a ton of conditioner. she might deep condition though..
