Why do you have multiple copies of the same movie? As far as I can tell, there's no big difference.

Some copies are later printings with alternate previews. Other copies have a white label on the tape, while others don't. As a collector of these tapes, I try to get the different variations.

My dad got me the second copy, I guess he didn't know that I already owned the VHS of "The Great Mouse Detective" when he got it for me.

On the second tape, the label is different. The logo for "The Great Mouse Detective" is in the middle of the label.

That logo should've been on the 1986 VHS of "Sleeping Beauty", as well as the 1987 VHS releases of "The Three Caballeros" and "Lady and the Tramp"

You have a very nice Disney collection and I have an extremely good Disney Collection as well but I do not have the Beauty and the Beast Platinum Edition DVD nor The Lion King Platinum Edition DVD (They are both in the Disney Vault). On the other hand, you do not have The Little Mermaid Platinum Edition DVD nor the Peter Pan Platinum Edition DVD (They will be going back into the vault on January 30, 2009).
