Two of the greatest, all-time phantastic Doo Wop Acts of the 50's! Growing up in Philly, Pa, was just wonderful! All The "Foxes & Coyotes," (Gals & Guys) played alot of this stuff while "cruisin" South Broad Street, in our 55-58 Chevy Impala's or Bonneville Convertible's! Thanx to Gerry Blavat(the Geater with the Heater) and ButterBall, Heavy Harvey Miller, Hy Litt, Joe Niagra, and other kewl DJay's, at that time! I'll nevah foget my teens!
"Love No One But You" is one of MY all time fave songs, in fact it's so amazing that it's in my top FIVE across ALL genres!!! I can NEVER get enough of hearing that outstanding harmony!!! I STILL have this original album as well as the CD and play it more than ANY other I own. Incredible performances!! Doo Wop LIVES!!!!!
The Clifton Pool and my Dad breaking his neck there ???and working at J & H across from chris colombus Jr high school ... and climbing the wall at Clifton stadium to sneek in to the football games and remember the white castle .across from the library .. remember me .. D Douglas its been 50 Years and I still Yearn for those days
139 Madeline avenue in clifton and skating on racies pond and making out in the dug outs and in the tunnel under rt 46,and Great Eastern Mills and 2 Guys from harrison ,
I still have this vinyl LP. It is the best doowop album ever made. I also have the CD and all those tunes on my computer. Awesome!
I stil remember Vicky dancing to "Lets Start All Over Again" at the Candy Store on Littleton Ave in Newark. Her Levi's were at least two sizes two small. Vicki, are you out there, I love you.
