this is not amateur hockey, dumbass. It is pro. minor pro. amateur is about 3 levels below the AHL.

NHL = pro; WHL, AHL, etc = amateur

MLB = pro; AAA = amateur

No, that's an igorant statment. Just 'cause you make a living off it doesn't mean it's pro.

For certain skilled trades/jobs there's such a thing as a journeyman, an apprentice and an artisan. Journeyman means you're the bottom of the barrell, the 1strung on the ladder...an apprentice is he next step up and value more highly...and finally an artisan is a highly skilled and highly certified PROFESSIONAL @ that particular job.

So I'll say it again...unless it's NHL, it's not fuckin' pro!!!

Yes, I know that many sports have the same sort of set-up as far as pro and amateur and such. But the plain and simple fact remains. If they're not professional...that's it...theyre not pro, they're amateur.

you apparently know nothing about hockey... yes hockey players agree to fight each other all the time and take their equipment off beforehand. it's not embarrassing, its actually respectful towards the other fighter. and since fighting is allowed, the refs do not stop it.
