As a former beauty contest Director for Hmong New Year in Fresno , I love your interview with Miss Lee . Your excellent question and answer from her made me having tear in my eyes . Lovely outfit. The Maio hat is very pretty and colorful but I wouldn't want to wear it. I would stick to the plain silver ones. These colorful Miao hat are only wore by the the bride during wedding.

her voice is shaky, you can tell she is nervous. I personally don't think Blia is a good role model at all. When asked what she has done to benefit the hmong community,she paused for a while. I really don't think coordinating the pageant and attending general's vang pao's funeral result in anything thats helpful to the community. How about fighting racism, talking to teens about sex, drug and gang..etc...
