The whole point of the original was that the arm REPLACES the ability to jump. It changes the dynamics of the gameplay completely. That's the whole point of the game.

Go play the original NES version.

GRIN uses their own in-house engine that is extremley modular and easy to adapt to any current or future project. They used the same engine for GRAW2 as the do now for both BC and BCR. =)

There's a very big difference between this and Spider-Man gameplay wise. The arm won't just automatically latch onto something. You to manually aim at a grip and launch your hand at it, so it actually requires skill.
