sit straight,close your eyes and concentrate on the two gaps.

the gap between breath going in and breath going out.

as well as

the gap between breath going out and breath going in.

also suitable for muslims .

please share the technique as much as possible .

It's not bad to trust humans, but it is better to trust God, as the guarantee that God can give is superior to the guarantee a human can give.

So it is not bad to trust humans per se, but it is bad to choose to have as guarantor limited beings/creation when a better guarantor exists, i.e. Allah, and that rejection of the superior guarantor (Allah) is an insult to Allah, and that's why it is forbidden.

Nothign wrong with the logic.

Walaikum salam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu. I had been told by some elders that it's not permissible to swear by Allah because we are not supossed to take Allah's name in vain. Could you shed some light on this brother? JazakAllah khair for sharing the video.

maybe they meant something else? There are tons of ahadith in which the prophet says "wallahi", and also "by the One in whose hand is my soul".

I have heard many "logics" that contradict Islamic evidences. I tend to move on in the way of truth no matter who says what.

Of course, one shouldn't take Allah's names/qualities in vain. I think we shouldn't make oaths wherever possible, especially with trivial things like "Oh yes that movie is definitely the best - I swear!", but where it is necessary, it is permitted, e.g. if testifying in a court of law.

I guess it comes down to personal judgement as to the importance of the need to convince someone of a given proposition.

We are not suppossed to swear for every little thing, it's mentioned in hadith collected by bukhari. :P
