It's a damn shame Phil and Dave couldn't get along. When Dave left, the Blasters lost their songwriter. And, while Dave's albums have been great, they're not as electrifying as the music he made with the Blasters, and he's not a great singer, so that has limited his audience as well.

some pumped-up irony here...love this song...it has to be one of the most fun cautionary tales of all time... i think it makes a nice trilogy with Samson and Delilah and Help You Dream
