I remember when this movie came out in theaters while I was living over in Germany. I was in middle school, and a -lot- of kids from my school went and saw this one Friday evening - myself, included, with a few of my friends.

When this specific piece came up, people started cheering as Obi-wan and Anakin duked it out. This entire sequence was talked about and "imitated" (our school had an amateur film production group) by a lot of the students.

Anakin died before that objective was accomplished, and as far as I know it still hasn't been. Every time they kill one, someone else joins the party. Darth Caedus Legacy of the Force books is a perfect example.

So, unless Luke finishes his objective before he dies, I guess we're both wrong.

@sabian171 Anakin didnt even kill sidious, he survived, he was so powerful with the force he was able to transfer his spiritual being into other people, he eventually did this to a clone of himself he had made before his ''death'' and attempted to ressurect the empire, he was eventually destroyed, but even more Sith followed. Kinda kills the whole prophecy and chosen one thing doesnt it? lol.

This was indeed an intense fight - but I find Luke vs. Darth Vader in the Death Star to be the best. I found it to be more powerful from the emotion that was throughout the scene; I didn't really care that there wasn't that many slashes compared to this scene.
