The slide guitar intro showcases Mr. Rea's dexterity. Around 2:29, we're treated to the beginning of a smoky-voiced love ballad. This is a gifted performer, backed by an equally talented band who have the good sense to play with him and not above him. They compliment one another. The story that is told is one of hope, wrapped up in a sweet pathos. This is truly a one-of-a kind performance which shows us that there are still true musicians left in the world.
