@nara549 These parents are not making a show out of it! They just want to share a nice moment with others. Calling this child abuse is really offensive and tactless. The kid is not being coerced or harmed into playing. Loose-tongued (or maybe wicked-tongued) comments like this are what get normal parents into trouble.
The kid clearly enjoys the instrument, hope the parents help keep it that way. Most children have a natural sense of rhythm, and this video is a great example of that.
i think there was another similar boy from michigan- rohan krishnamurthy, i think kalamazoo; not identified this young as a prodigy but now he plays for top artists...this dude is bound to be a great with that kind of sense of beat.

Wow! This boy is amazing! You should bring him to the Hare Krishna temple, we have another little south indian drummer boy named Krishna here. It's amazing to see such young talent, he is truly a gift.
