My Walk to the Llyn (Lake)

@howesmat , Its a greatly over looked walk this, not many visit it, as in being in Snowdonia National Park that is. Prestatyn is a nice place too. :-)

Beautiful music set to a wonderful video. The bridges you drive over look like ones in a favorite park of mine back home. :-) I love these sightseeing drives; England has such beautiful landscapes. I think many of the parks I grew up around were arranged after English parks (the bridges, etc.). I would not be surprised. :-) What I struggle with, however, is the driving on the opposite side of the road. I am so glad YOU are driving. It always feels like I am heading for a head-on collision.

Excellent Vid Paul. I haven't been to Crafnant for years although I often go to Geirionedd which isn't far from there - I must give it a go again now I've seen what I'm missing.

Snowdonia one of the great UK national parks, brill area/views where you went Paul. Would be soooo tempted to stealth wild it for a few nights in different locations, especially if you have somewhere to leave the car safely for 2 - 3 nights. Nice one

Its hard to belive its only about 60kms to the hustle'n'bustle of Liverpool.

The ants nest...good source of bushtucker there mate. Why have those 3 trees been Ring Barked 9:43 --> 10:19

@RDPproject , Thanks Rob, the ring marks are to show the forestry workers which trees to fell, and they can mean which trees are to be kept etc. Yes good eating the ants eggs. Not tried them though! :-)

Really enjoyed the views. Cameras never seem to capture the full impact of mountains - always so much better in reality.

Bet there's plenty of eels in those streams.

I really must get back to Wales someday, it's a beautiful country and I have lots of memories of my walking days there.

It`s such a lovely area and walk around Lllyn Crafnant , and yes those were ants nests but they are not active at this time of year , gr8 video , i liked the running commentary as i do that a lot in my films , i have filmed two walks to Llyn Cowlyd , the easy way and the not so easy way which takes you over those mountains you zoomed in on but there are some excellent views looking down towards Llyn Crafnant

@007vauxhall No, Britannia mine is on Snowdon (you went in one of the adits). I actually have no clue what the mine is you passed or what it is called. It is one of the many clandestine mines in North Wales. Hum.
