You dont have to have health insurance or nationalized health care if you want to be responsible for your self. You can make private arrangements with the doctor or hospital to pay for your own care. The cold hard facts are just that private clinics cannot keep up with the behemoth of their gov't. For all the shouting about health care it is about control. Control of your life. Control of where you can live, what you can eat, what you can do. With a 1000 pages in all present bills nearly ANY THING in your lifecan be related to heath care or cost for heath care and will be subject to govt control. When people realize that if they do not toe the line of the party they are put on the expendable health care list. This is the whole ball game for the Dems.

I just had a cancer removed, for free, (although I paid my dues in taxes) the alternative here in the UK was to probably die in about 18 months time. So I am staying here. I'm pretty sure that supply has a lot to do with why costs are rising at such rates. If nothing is done about supply, the US health-care will continue to degrade no matter what kind of plan is implemented.

1) The government can't do that, they can only do what is in the bill, and that isn't anywhere in the bill.
2) The amendment set forth by Lois Capps explicitly preserves the status quo on the state funding abortion. Only in cases of rape, incest or when the mother's life is in danger, and only with the express written consent of both parents.
3) I'm not sure where you're getting your information, but saying all this doesn't mean anything unless you give a source. it means less than nothing.

We do not need to take over health insurance, though the regulatory laws Obama addresses in his speeches would be great.
All we need is to mimic our judicial system. You can pay for a lawyer, or if you can not afford one, you can get a court appointed attorney, free of cost. Might not be the best lawyer, but at LEAST you have representation.
Same, if you can not afford a doctor, one should be provided. Might not be the best doctor, but at least you have health care.

p 427 of the HR 3200 clearly states not just physicians but "professionals" who will have government authority will have the right to give, which means they also have the right to withhold life sustaining treatment.
They will get together and discuss whether you live, or are even given a chance to live, or not.
Sticking your heads in the sand does not make it go away. If you chose to purposely stay ignorant, that is fine, but quit lying and saying there is no death panel because it is FACT!
