If only Charlie Sheen had thought that way. He threw away a good thing and then he regretted it. I know he's got a new series coming up but that doesn't change the fact that he had a great thing going and he blew it. He was such a fool.

@mikemagic90 You're quite right. Without Charlie, most of the characters are thrown off track. They don't have a place in Walden's life, so the writers can't do anything with them. The show was like a perfectly-running machine, but when Sheen got fired, the central mechanism was taken out and now nothing works well.

I tried to like this episode, but I didn't. It wasn't because of Walden, because Ashton did a great job playing his character. I just didn't like it because it felt like Lorre based this episode on humiliating Sheen as much as possible. Charlie has played a brilliant character for 8 seasons and he doesn't even get a sad goodbye? Plus Walden and Alan don't fit together. It's like they're the same people, but Walden is only better looking. I miss Charlie making Alan look like an even bigger geek!
