Without giving you lots of negativity I think you should try an easier song to drum too. Listen to Grohl and you'll realise that even if you can get the beat right to make it sound good you need to be better. Your not a bad drummer especially for a year. Keep at it.

Actually, I did play the finale. We pretended the song was over and then came back with the big "Hey!" part, but the cameraman thought the song was over after this and didn't keep rolling. (Although I did mess it up... :\). Thanks anyway!

Well done, for a years work that's pretty awesome. the only things are maybe working on your buzz rolls and your double strokes, as much as rudiments suck to learn, they do improve you as a player. And the solo and the end is a little tricky, but once you get off beats on the bass drum down, you can play them with any fill to add another aspect or sound to the fill. And during the bridges, the timing on the ride stays on 8ths, it doesn't change just to strike with the snare. But well done.

The song is by Queens of the Stone Age. I've been drumming for about a year, one hour or two hours per week. I worked with a teacher for about a month. He taught me the basics and the rest I had to figure out on my own. About your vids, I've seen them all, but I'm working on a pretty low budget, so I'm still saving up to get all the useful stuff I need.
