9:32 - I don't understand Tony's mathmatics there. 3.7% of the present day European population of 600 million is less than 3 million which is far less than the death toll of WW2, let alone twenty times that amount.
I wonder what would have happened had the revolt succeeded? Although I have read they did not want the King deposed if it had come to it would England have eventually become a republic if not become ruled by warlords?
I adore Tony as well and have done for years. I have, as a Canadian, learned more history through his shows than I ever did or could with regular schooling. I am an avid learner--it's almost an addiction!--and if Tony is a part of the show, I'm watching it. Thank you Tony and thanks to jbdelamarck for uploading this. Please keep them coming!

i love tony robinson, too... he brings up the little things i've always been curious about. what it was REALLY like to be a knight in not-so-shining armor, the way teenagers in gangs have actually NOT changed from the way they were in the dawn of civilisation, that people have always had expressions like ours..... like, hello? lol
Thank you so much for posting this. Found it to help our son with history homework & we all watched it & were glued! Will watch all the other parts now. Really helps to make history relevant
Isn't Tony's chin beard a bit lop sided? Great posting mind you. I do enjoy Tony's documentaries and other historically related programs not to forget Black Adder.

Tony Robinson is my favourite historian. He's always talking about the stuff that nobody else ever brings up. Long live Tony!

Wait... nobody brings up the Peasants Revolt? The very foundation of the Magna Carta? Of Parliament? This is pretty common...
