  • Hi guys , Iam european and I would like to know if anyone ist still speaking in Breton , or how popular is it , because this is beautiful song and I would like to know what is it about

  • bua que rollo

  • is this celtic or gaylic

  • @metisman100 The song is in Breton, which is a Celtic language.

  • @Viciousfella thanks

  • i have heard much better versions of this song, where the accent is better.

  • @antiepw True, I'm not sure why I mentioned it! Probably because I get stick for it on youtube because of the daft account name I chose a while ago. So your Mum is one of the few left in Ireland who can speak it? As far as I know, there's a few more here in Scotland who speak it but few nonetheless. A neighbour and one of my best friends are two but they've no one to speak it to unfortunately. I'm quite sure I'm as Celt as can be today as my bloodline is Scots for as far back as can be traced!

  • amazing music and video

  • This is a beautiful song. I can play the tune on the bagpipes. Always new it was a Breton tune but never knew it's traditional name. I might be a unionist for better or for worse, but I'm a Celt till I die.

  • @PureJockPureBrit I just today only recognized it comes not from Scooter )))
