YOu know.......any other time I'm not into these kinds of movies unless I have to watch them for school or something. I WAS goin to see this just because my future wife Alicia Keys is in it......but after seeing the trailer yesterday. The movie caught my attention overall. I''ve never read the book though.

im reading this book for my summer reading project, it is great...i feel like i choosen the right book and i didnt even find out there was a movie until i read it in the people magazine...i cant wait to see it, i jsut wish i wasnt the only one that ik who is reading this book! it's great =)

It really was so empowering and I'm a guy, I loved that it was about women coming together and finding love and strength within eachother and as a group. Made you wanna hang out with the sisters of mary everyday huh? hehehe

I think Alicia will do June really well cuz she has that look like she hates you and you have just walked into the room LMAO she gives that look to Lilly through the whole movie so I think Alicia will be so good and Latifa??? PERFECT choice as August, she makes you feel safe just reading about her and Latifa is like that in real life so it's perfect
