one thing about australia the people are really nice best part most like americans unlike some countries. i visit Melbourne i had great time alot of things to do. i live in sunrise fl have a nice day
i am living in melbourne ,andi have been to sydney and i did not like it , too old and ugly and the weather is worst thrn mrlbourne, the people ,lots of them are nice and polite , the public system is good, and many times we have what they call ausstudy where the government give youa interest grant and you pay once you earn over a certain amount , the average rent is about 800 aud or less. There is employment around.we have thankfullly free health system and i am sure you will like it here
1st of all you being american with all your anti socialist bullshit and that freemarket is best for society crap.
Australia is very socialist in nature as in we say every1 has a right to education and healthcare, and if that means that we all pay a little more tax to ensure that all citizens enjoy the benefit of a wealthy western nation.
America is all about money if u have it great, if not your fucked.
Australia is all about we work to live we dont live to work,
if your not there when i get there i will send you a video of me in south beach. i hate traveling off season but when your broke what else can you do. once the summer hits it looks like the price sky rockets.
i wish you lucky with this jedie sorry it looks like i'am not coming for the summer. as soon as the summer started the price of the train ticket jumped up to 750 dollars. and i'am not going to have that much fun there just to get turned down by bunch of stuck up girls haha. the only exciting part would of been tho see you, you know i think your fairest loveliest woman in the whole world. i start master's program so i will be getting a loan check. i will try to come there with that.
yo! i'm australian and i'm currently doing a course at Victoria University in Victoria. unless you get REALLY AWESOME MARKS and stuff like that you'll get into Melbourne university as it's highly prestigious. and also much more expensive. :P here's a link regarding international students:
vu. edu. au/international-students
VU is amazing, it really is. the people are uber friendly too. if it's too much for you at the moment, you can always get a diploma of legal studies or something
@calculatorINSTINCTS if you want more details, just message me on youtube! haha. by the way, we pronouce melbourne MEL-BURN ,not mel-bourne. it really gets up most people's goat haha
i may even make a video response if it may be too much information...
if you study law in australia, doesn't that mean you can only practice law in australia? maybe laws are similar in can/aus/NZ/UK , but to me it seems like a law degree from a US school is better. what about other professions like doctor or journalist. journalists travel a lot.

dont change your ideas frequently.you better stick to doing one thing for a long time and finish it well.dont move from place to place too often.as a girl ,its better to stay where your parents live or in a city you love ,and then get yourself a good husband.its so important to have a man around to take care of you.Thats a piece of advice from your elder asian brother with small penis.its actually not ture.

America is a beautiful place and has the best education system in the world.why do you want to leave for Australia.Australia does have its own adantages, such as having less competition and stress in the workplace.however,i think it would be better for you to study in the USA becasue you're americans.you can receive help from families and government in a much easier way if you study in the USA.my specific suggestion for you is to study where your parents live now.
There is no profession that is more anal and protective and territorial than law. If you plan to study and practice in Oz - that sounds amazing. But if you plan to study in Oz and practice in the US - it might be complicated since you will be competing with US graduates for jobs... idk... good luck!!!
usyd is a nice university in a good location with a nice reputation, cant say much for anything in melbourne as ive never been. We have a program called HECS and HELP which is for permanant Australian Citizens, im not sure how you would finance yours. As for the place its quite multicultural, theres everything from everywhere but its all expensive to so you might find yourself paying more than you would have elsewhere, Healthcare is really nice though. Good luck.
I'd say go for it if you want to. Both unis you mentioned sound like good options. I should be applying to uni soon; Uni of Melbourne was my first choice but Sydney's more convenient for me. Personally I prefer Melbourne over Sydney; public transport is better, nicer city in general. Crappier weather though (unless you prefer the cold). Maybe I'm just bitter about being from the latter.
We've racism, fat people, maccas and bogans so it's not that different, save for the lingo. With all kidding,
@incuntestable Rock on, thanks for the feed back. I'm trying to right my personal statement as I write this and just hoping to get a cool head about it.
Anyway, I have many Aussie friends who graduated law school in Australia - so if you want more detailed info, just msg me and hit me up. Aussies believe they have the best lifestyle in the world, and I think the bastards are right... Certainly, it would be my place of refuge if I ever needed to leave Japan in a hurry, and I'm glad it is. Just so long as I don't have to support their cricket team... Anyway, it's a good fit for you I think. Hope this helps a bit.
@Hikosaemon Thanks so much, dude, you're always a great help. I'm kind of freaking out just filling out the applications and seeing how the whole visa situation works and how the hell I'm supposed find a job when it's all said and done. The magic of the internet though, makes things a lot easier to figure out. Now I'm trying to write my personal statement for the University of Sydney and the University of Melbourne. I swear I've deleted and restarted the thing like 5 times already.
As a NZer, it is fairly true that Australia is to NZ as America is to Canada - we have very similar relationships. Aussies are generally very self assured in the belief that they live in the best country in the world, even if they are not quite as vocal about it as Americans are. Culture is very Osaka-style, in your face, got to be able to take a joke, which I think is a good fit for you. I know some sensitive Japanese types who find that culture hard to take, but it's just friendliness
Aussies get highly subsidized university fees (about 75% government subsidized) and there is a program for Australian citizens called OzStudy where they can get low/no interest loans to cover the bit they have to pay, making it possible to attend uni without any savings or interest earning debt - although that is better to ask to someone who did it. My Kiwi friends in Australia took Aussie citizenship just for OzStudy.
(ctd) But Qld has a great climate (kinda the "Florida" of Australia, and the best Japanese culture and language programme anywhere in the world outside of Japan. I grew up near Melbourne, and love the place, but for climate and lifestyle, I'd recommend Sydney over it. Melbourne is a great city, but kinda crappy climate
I'm a Kiwi, but with an Aussie mother, sister, and grew up half my life in Australia, and my mum lives in Australia, so I have pretty strong connections to the place.
I decided to go to university in NZ instead of Australia, and kinda regret it now. Aussie universities have much nicer campuses, better funding and so on.
I would suggest considering University of Queensland - that is the one I nearly went to. Brisbane isn't the city that Sydney and Melbourne are, but i(ctd)
Personally I would recommend going to the university of Melbourne, the public transport system is fantastic, the weather is lovely and the night life is second to none, if you want to go to an interesting friendly town then Melbourne is the best choice.
With regards to paying for uni, as a citizen we have HECS which is a loan provided by the government to pay for university fees, however once you graduate and get a job you have to start paying it back. internationals may have to pay upfront.
like how u did your hair =) so like idk much about austrailia except that heath leger died there, the actors like jason statam and huge jackman from xmans famouse there too and they made the melbourbns shuffle dance educationalwise dont know anything so whose that dog belong too? and yeah havent watched any good hentai except maybe furry hentai if that counts or chibi anime
I am not an Aussie, but I would assume that the two schools u mentioned are public and that (since Australia is quite socialized) it's almost free for its citizens ^^ also, I think u can get a loan in the US that could help u pay for school in Australia, if need be...
@caffinejedi i dont think they offer any good financial assistance to international students.most likely, you're going to pay tuition and fees at full amount.its also hard to get a loan from the australian government for you as a international student.i did two law subjects which seemed to be easy for the majority of students. The salary of australians might be better than that of americans.im asian with small penis.you as a white person may have better opportunities than us here.Good luck.
you look REEEEALLY young.
