@gammafirebug1 The hosebed is on a metal sheet, on top of concrete. You don't have to be the hulk, one good pull and the bed will go an extra 5 feet. So no you will only tire yourself out more by consistantly pulling.
Guy did a good job good form for the majority, but he could have been a tad more motivated. I'm a voluteer FF and he's in a lot better shape than I and I could have at least jogged inbetween stages. But still good job and thank you for your service
@a31yusef You are not an Army recruiter. A real army recruiter would have a little more pride and make sure he spells his shit correctly. Try harder next time buddy.
WTH....the hose line wasn't charged...This one shouldn't have even counted. I used to teach that objective. Even if the hydrant was busted, we brought out a truck to charge the line.
The reason why it's harder, is because it's the Military, we get 13 or 14 weeks of quick training... And for the men and women that are going to enlist to get this job, go Air Force because that's mainly who actually does the job...
How come if you become a regular fire fighter the test is not nearly as hard! Im just going to a community college to get my PT certification and i just bring the certificate to my interview. No questions asked?
The go army site lies, as they say 19D is available to Army Reserves and its not. The site aint the greatest to rely on, call your local Army station.
I don't know who you are or what you do, but I would like to see you go through everything we did in this Fire Academy... Did you know Goodfellow's Fire Academy was in the top 10 in Toughest Fire Academies...
actually buds i do that test yearly, iam a military firefighter and we have high standards, and as i said if the test isn't administered properly, no one has bragging rights. cheers

From my experiance, it's better to have a consistant pull....unless you're like the incrdible hulk or something

I am a Army Recruiter and this MOS is available but very very limited. I have signed up one soldier in thsi MOS in 3 year working this job.

@a31yusef Are you more likely to get the job if you have civilian firefighting background?
ENG3INEMVFD 1 year ago
@ENG3INEMVFD you are more likely to get a job in this feild by not using youtube as a source. Go to your local FD.

@MrGnirolrelyt I am a civilian firefighter which is why I asked that question.

the hose line is not even charged during the drag, common how can you justify this as a test if it's not even administered properly
