So Sept. 01, 1939 invasion of Poland was the begining of second world war and ends 1945. Hey, I was not born yet. I did not realize the Germans uses horses to invade Poland. This is very interesting.

One thing that is true is the technological advances of the German tanks from WWI caught everyone off guard. I saw a documentary once where after the invasion started a Polish cavalry on horseback was sent to repel it, and they were horrified to see they were advancing on a group of about 250 Panzers coming right for them.

This is no blitzkreig at all, Gemrmany was damn close to lose this attack. The attack on France later German increasd their military power with 150%. Germans used 80% of their ammo in Poland campaign.

Really? Poles killed Germans "easily" ? Lets look at the numbers: 200,000+ Polish casualties, 40,000 German casualties. In addition, 700,000+ Polish prisoners were taken. That means 900,000+ Polish were pacified at the cost of 40,000 Germans. That's a ratio of over 20:1 - Worst part is...the Polish military size was about 1 Million, the German invasion force was about 2 Million. So with those numbers in mind - the true ratio is 10:1 in favor of Germany. Poles STILL got ripped in a defensive war.

These are two great examples of the EXCEPTION to the rule. How about all the battles where Germans were way ahead of the Polish? Just because there are two or three heavy battle victories, doesn't mean that is how the entire war went. If that was the case, Poland would have successfully defended against Germany - instead they lost in a matter of only 1 month! How about the battle of Warsaw and the Battle of Bzura? The Germans had a near 28:1 ratio! Stick to the rule - not the exception.

This is not true at all. I think YOU need to do some reading on the siege of warsaw. The germans outnumbered the Poles 1.5 - 1. The germans took approximately 1,250-1,600 deaths, and approximately 4,500-5,500 wounded. The Poles suffered between 6,000-7,000 killed, 17,000-18,000 wounded, and over 100,000 captured! Also, when the allies and soviets marched on Berlin - civilians, including small children were fighting from their homes, using makeshift weapons - some even given panzerfausts!

Both the Germans and Poles both had a large civilian defense force when invading armies crossed onto their soil. Don't get me wrong, I am not bashing the Poles...they were pretty valiant fighters - however the Wehrmacht overpowered them quickly with both numbers, superior weaponry, and superior training + leadership. The Poles were very resilient though.

was the best bomber in the world at that time. A 20 mm gunned TKS commanded by sergeant Roman Orlik destroyed three German Panzer 35(t) tanks. Only 27 of 400 TKS were rearmed to 20 mm by the outbreak of WWII.

Remember Poland had regained its independence in 1918 after 123 years of partitions, WWI was fought on soil Polish soil and in 1919 Poland had war with the soviets. Polish Anti-tank rifle, model 35 was a weapon the Germans did not know of. It shot through tank armor and killed the crew inside. It could penetrate every German tank in 1939. It was a out breaking weapon at that time. and that was all in 20 years. I could not imagine how Poland would look like now if not WWII.

The SS and the Einsatzgruppen were the jew killers. The total Germans that were used in the Final Solution were only approximately 50,000 people. The total population in Germany amounted to approx 90,000,000 people. Also take another 50K in government that started the war. 90,000,000 civ vs 100k responsible is only .11% which is a handful.
