You do realise that you actually don't need to plug in the jack cable in order to get sound through the speakers, right? Just plug in the USB cable and choose the Lacie USB Speakers as the output in your sound system preferences panel on the Mac! :-)
The jack cable is for connecting MP3 players and other external sound sources.
i know this is an old video, but do you happen to know how many watt they are?

Can you connect them on the usb port of a Philips tv?
I've only audio out analoge and digital unfortunately NOT a haeadphone jack to connect computer speakers.

I own these speakers. Really good sound quality for a USB device, the bass is really good IMO.... but I payed almost £40! Geez lol
