1 MORE THING ...in certain cultures , controlling an animal and having it perform is more important than the animal's natural boisterous behaviour...allow the westie to please in all the ways westies do( look at all the videos of westies playing , sleeping) ...their lives are enjoyable + FUN ...don't make your dog into a circus act...it is demeaning to them / begging for food + treats ...and WATCH THEIR TEETH if U feed them junk constantly.

I think U really need to take your westie to a vet ...its pads + paws look reddish inflamed to me ...this often occurs with westies , and U need to have it checked out.The cause can be a FUNGUS , and it will be spread to the muzzle + ears ....I may be wrong ...but take the time to ask why there is redness ...does your westie lick a lot , does it come inside with wet feet ???? PLEASE BE ALERT + LOOK!
