@OldSocksVideos By starting simple, with some easy projects. Lego has Mindstorms, Parallax has a BOEbot, and there are projects involving the Arduino that can be a starting point. There are lots of online posts and documentation on how to use these kits, and communities online like LetsMakeRobots. Robotics involves electronics, mechanics, and programming, so reading about and trying different projects in those areas would help.

That is actually really scary looking. It's head looks like the robot from Saturn 3. Can you imagine if you were working in the lab late at night, and all of a sudden it got up like that? This could be used as a very terrifying scene in a movie.
