Addendum to my last post...It seems that the "tree" that is most likely the cause of the problem is not available for purchase by itself. It comes attached to the inner shaft.
Today I posted a video with the same problem and I think I have just figured it out. It not the inner shaft. Take the balance bar off and disassemble the rotor buckle that attaches the balance bar. The 'tree" that fastens the balance bar and upper rotor to the inner shaft is most likely broken. It is a five minute inspection.
@Tim4706 Both buckles are attached to the balance bar. It seems that the bar that holds the upper blades onto the main shaft is disconnected or loose. Can I order a spare one of these? What is it called? Also will I need to get a new main shaft as well? Thanks for all your time.
Check to see if there are 2 buckels attatched to the rotor balance bar assembly if 1 is missing it wil upset the ballance of your s107g I own 5 syma choppers you can get replacement parts for them from amazon.com they are cheap 3.50 for a main rotor and all basic parts plus you can buy replacment buckles they come 4 in a pack these choppers are much better than airhogs the best of all of them good luck keep flying PS there even a wall charger you can get too from amazon its very cheap.
We have the same problem with our Christmas S107G. The heli takes off but soon after the upper blade collides with the lower blade. I can't quite figure out what is supposed to prevent the upper from colliding with the lower.
@rookie2468 is right. Part # S107-13. There is someone one eBay selling 5 of just the head piece right now. Search for item # 110807061414.
