It's free if you have a lgitimate version of say XP. Just go to Microsogt site & download it. If your version of Windows is not legit & does not have a code, or key, don't go there.. Try Audacity (totally free).

i just finished a movie in wmv, like 3 minutes long, maybe a bit less, with almost no effects, a 2mb song. When i render it, the size of the video is more than 200mb!! and the time remaining is 350 minutes!! i have a video on youtube with 2 minutes and lots of effects, and it was less than 20 minutes to render it!!!

Please say what can i do to make it render faster. Answer this comment ASAP!

@TheLittleBag I can answer that for you. With the option "Compress to" select MB and you can raise it just until it gets to the 960/720 or 1280/720 screen size. I just uploaded an HD test video recently around 3 to 4 minutes and it was 52.9 MB in size.
