todavia tiene vida judit, alfil x c4 dama d7 dama d8 caballo x c5 dama por dama caballo por dama y hasta puede quedar en tablas el juego.... lo que esta en contra es su tiempo
What if she's just thinking? I mean, she had more time than her opponent, at least at first. She has an easy way of stopping the queen entering black ranks. In my opinion she's just checking some threats, and in any case she can just exchange the bishop pair. Which is something any chess player would rather avoid if they can help it. But it doesn't mean she's "perplexed" ffs.
@likespaintball there's millions of children with much worse problems than that. of course what they did was controversial and personally i wouldn't attempt to involve my own family in a project of that kind. yet i don't think any of them could get as good as they did (no matter how hard their father would be pressing) if they didn't truly enjoy the game after all!
@ace942 her opponent was Lintchevski, Daniil (2558). The game was played at the European Rapid Chess Championship in Warsaw in 2010. Sorry for the late reply ;)
I guess she is thinking.. wow! Thanks for this amazing upload?!

@likespaintball you make it sound so sinister and wrong. is that your intent?

@iorixs happiness is more important than success. so yes, it is my intent.

i think she was concerned about the queen's penetration after bishop moves, supported by the knight

She was probably contemplating the possible endgame after Bcx4 and checking for back rank threats and possible drawing chances for him....

I couldn´t see any problem for Polgar... could you?

@sygar2006 no real problems I guess, but black's back rank was vulnerable to queen attacks. I posted full game's notation in the description box ;)
