@TheParamedicFan The actual ship broke at a 12 degree angle. Your probably thinking of James Cameron's Titanic that broke at 45 degrees and is, unfortunately, inaccurate.

Only problem with your "Raise the Titanic" reenactment is in the movie the Titanic re-surfaced with all funnels, masts and some rigging intact. Yours didn't have that.

thanks if tried internal weights but it stoped sinking and i looked and the rocks hit the bottom of my pool but at least it worked

@Dirtboy101 Everyone knows it broke, WHEN it broke, is a mistery, and HOW it broke, noone knows the exac reason, And yes, I DID say that it looked the same, I said in the movie, it came up slowly, and it would in real life too, and with YOUR model, it ALSO came up SLOWLY, so please, before you start repremanding me, you should READ MORE CAREFULLY. I egnoleged that yours was the same as the BOOK, and I noted that you did a good job, I ALSO egnoleged the differances between the BOOk and the MOVIE.

(/otherwise) " noting, that the upper-most deck, DID, in fact stay, on the ship, wether it was in the book, or not. There was a semi-deck, on the top of the ship, in which is hard to see, BUT, it's where the stacks were located on. I egnoleged, that in the book it was bare, and yes, you might think it broke on the surface, but that's the part noone knows for sure.

Not to be a critic, but, in "RAISE THE TITANIC" from 1982, it actually had all funnels, BUT, #3, and it came up slowly, as in your video, it came up slowly, and it DID have it's Bow Mast, it's stern-mast was half broken off. and ti broke at the expansion-hinge joint between the #3 and #4 stacks because the expansion joint couldn't hold the weight of an entire third of a ship, INCLUDING almost all of it's passengers. Yes, I DO like the TITANIC, and, and yes, in the book, it was bare. (/otherwise)

@cooldude4cool thats the only way to ensure that the model will snap at the right angle. you can't just hope it will snap at the right time and having internal mechanisms are to difficult due to the stress inflicted on the hinge and the small space. And I made no attempt to hide the string.
