Im gettting this, this week! i got the GTX 460 and my current PSU just dont have enough pci-e sockets for it. £107 ($165) does seem quite allot for a PSU but it seems highly recommended for a gaming style computer

However the most recent HX series are way better.

Good vid thinking about picking one up. Will this solve my problem of my GPU being so hot it runs at 65c idle and 75-85c underload, is it because my PSU being underpowered, i only have 250w psu, will getting this psu run my gpu cooler?

25c-48c is common

yours is Hot

PSU will help but not the main cause

you may need a newer PC case

Venting is more important then ever

Also changing the gfx card fan speed may help to
