  • Nice

  • If You Close Your Eyes He Turns Into A Girl :D

  • A chiropractor is a person who breaks backs and enjoys manipulating the spine. They take pleasure in "CRACKING" backs and then saying that their advice is equal to doctors when really it isnt ..... do the research.

  • I'm afraid of Chiropractors. I could really use one but maybe one day..

  • I have been having upper back and lower back pains from pinched muscles so I hope a chiropractor will help and not further injure or even kill me ? ;P

  • @TheSurfinbird21 They won't. I went today and I have a lump on my neck from slouching over the computer, it' quite common, and that little neck adjusgment they do doesn't hurt, the sound might startle you, personally thats why I was scared to go, I seen the chiropractor do that and today I face it after a year later of witnessing it on my mom it hurts not at all you feel so relieved. Go to one!

  • I've watched enough Steven Seagal movies to not try this at home.

  • QUACKERY. How can anyone buy this?

  • It has worked for me for years.

  • I wonder how much of this is just a placebo effect. A lot of chiropractic theory is based on pretty flimsy scientist evidence.

  • @Cheerguygccc Wow it's amazing there would be so much medical literature on one case [ bit ly pPV7cf ]. You should really contact the authors who report on "10 case", "100 cases" etc. to point out that they accidentally doubled up a few times and it was actually only the one woman. Maybe you could explain to me how that one stroke managed to bias all the population based studies as well.

Maybe you could also show me the evidence that chiropractic is as efficacious as the medication & surgery.

  • I'm 11 an I'm going to the chiropractor.

  • After suffering chronic backpain for over 20 years I decided to do something about it. My very own home remedy which works ! I cut a tennis ball in half, using the half spheres as "heel support" by inserting them cone up inside my shoes. For the last 10 years I have absolutely no backpain at all, thanks to my tennis ball inserts which I only need to replace each year as simply as cutting a new tennis ball in half. Try it for yourself, it works by taking all shock absorption.

  • And after that crack, she never walked again. The end.

  • OMG! the guy was right i just tried this on my sister and i broke her neck!

  • i was looking at the comments when the video started and thought it was a woman talking

  • I will never go to a chiropractor. This kind of crap has resulted in strokes.

  • @mrcranky01 I guess it would be better for her to take a pill for her neck pain with spasm? How many people die each year from ibuprofen alone? 11,000. You are not even supposed to drive after taking a muscle relaxer. Which is safer? I wonder. If the outcomes were even similar, Chiropractic profession wouldn't even exist. So go ahead and continue with old, hear-say information, and research will help the people that want help correcting problems, not covering them up with pills.

  • THAT CRACK/ADJUSTMENT SOUNDED AWESOMEEE! I want a chiropractor!

  • wth is that thing a man or woman?

  • Where's the part where he pulls out his magic wand and finds the negative chakras in her spine?

  • i think this man bends over to men

  • You look kinda like Shane of The Shield

  • "Make the noise, make the NOISE!!! I LIVE FOR THE NOISE!!!"

    - Eddie Izzard

  • SOUNDS WONDERFUL !!

  • he sounds quite gay

  • If you take your eyes of the vid, it sounds like broad talking...lol

  • holy crap she....he....is she dead? she didnt move anymore after the crack!!

  • @tillywashu No, it breathed :)

  • good lord she's hot.

  • 2:04

He just doesn't want us to do something that everyone else is capable of.

  • @Section8Spectre a quid is a pound £

  • @dudeedud6 they are doctors, they're just not M.D.

  • Where's the snake oil, bitch?

  • Save time by pressing here -> 1:47

  • @xd4380 ...Awesome, i love that sound.

I could watch people getting cracked all day...lol

  • @xd4380 thanks :)

  • @xd4380

.."Blah, blah.. blah *BREAKING CELERY*.. blah.."

  • @xd4380 hahaha king

  • Real life Alan Harper.

  • @Section8Spectre well mate, get used to pounds and euros cause dollars are just part of the past, you silly bastard

  • I'm Tryin' it.

  • release the kraken

  • what a fag

  • "Training" or no, this is still dangerous. Manipulating the neck can damage the vertebral arteries, causing stroke, locked-in syndrome and death. See a doctor or physio, this is not a safe "alternative".

  • @naturalmotionraptor Okay, so look at stats.... 1 in 2 000 000 chance of stroke from Chiropractic, 1 in 10 000 DIE from anesthetic, 7500 people DIE from asprin each year in the US alone, parcetamol is the NUMBER 1 cause of acute liver failure in the US, research showed chiropractic more effective than physio for neck pain and headaches. So is drugs a "safe" alternative to chiropractic? Yes people have been injured, yes people have had strokes, the risks are there. Cars are more dangerous!!

  • @chirojanee Risk/benefit. Anaesthetists weigh the individual risk against the risk of not performing surgery. Also liver failure from paracetamol is usually due to deliberate overdoses. What is this research that shows physios are less effective for neck pain? Or, for that matter the 1 in 2,000,000? The Canadian Stroke Consortium released a warning claiming neck manipulation was one of the leading causes of strokes under 45. Must be a lot of neck manipulation if that stat is true.

  • If you have pinched nerves on your upper back, can a chiropractor be any help?

  • If you're interested in chiropractic, but still worried about seeing one after watching this video, I strongly suggest you read this article that was released in 2010. The research is extremely up to date, accurate, and backed up with numerous sources.

    chiromt.com/content/18/1/22

  • That is pretty cool

  • How much would this cost in the UK, I'm 17 and had been in a car crash and had minor neck stiffness which went away but after sleeping wrong one time it came back and has slowly been getting worse to the point I have to click my neck a few times a day

  • Nice work Doc, Like to see someone i graduated with in some of these videos

  • i so want to do this right now!

  • What does he do? He makes money out of chiropractic dupes, Its quackery

  • @joeytrimble I'm up for that bloody bet, a 100 quid that you are a bunch of useless prats

  • @gene53945

Why dont you go see one for yourself before you make stupid comments. english people think the same way about dentists and look at your teeth.

  • Wow....thanks for this video. I am getting this type of adjustment 3 x a week right now, but don't understand what he is doing and how he is deciding what needs adjusted. I feel him feeling around on my neck and back, but how does he know when he comes across a problem. Also, there is times that I go home afterward and feel pain from the adjustment. He says this is normal being as my neck has been out of place. Sure hope this is not making it worse though!

  • he sounds like a fag

  • @MrRianisawesome101 you bet your bollocks

  • @gene53945 bollocks?

  • yeee

  • ouchhhhhhhh

  • OMG i want my neck cracked so bad LOL

  • This guy reminds me of Alan off two and half men.

  • i think that guy cracked his testicles.

  • A .... Into a .... Body!! Fill in the blanks! And get a free kiss on the lips from a black man doesnt matter if ur a Man also.

  • wow its like the sham wow guy mixed with a girl and a nerd awesome

  • it looks like Chiropractors talk a lot and touch pretty girls!

  • aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.............wish someone did that to me.........

  • as anyone knows it can be deadly... umm, can anyone explain to me which part of this is deadly and why, and how to avoid it when you are untrained and want to do it?

  • @sintje21 If the neck snaps the wrong way, it can sever the spinal cord, which can result in paralysis and even death if it's damaged enough because it will cause the lungs and heart to stop. Basically, if you're not trained, don't even try it.

  • Quackery. No more, no less.

  • @Gilbomeister youre clueless. i wish that one day youre eyes will be opened and you will be smart enough to find true health care with chiropractic

  • @Gilbomeister youre clueless. I hope that one day your eyes are opened and you get true healthcare through chiropractic. I wont bash you or attack you for knocking my profession, but I will say that it is blatant ignorance like this that keeps chiropractors in business. We LOVE for people to have negative thoughts so that when we FIX THEIR PROBLEMS, they're that much more excited to tell others about their wonderful experience. have a great day!

  • Qaackery. No more, no less.

  • That gives a clear explanation, much more detailed than other videos. People might be tempted to try twisting heads by watching other videos, this one explains the process and it's very interesting.

  • Nice rack

  • you slag

  • Keep in mind, this doctor is talking in lay language, not as if he is describing this to another doctor. Pretty good job at keeping a very complicated procedure simple.

  • quack..

  • 1:48 :D

  • What dialog this stirs up.

  • That's not a good sight if ur sternum is moving I would get that checked out

  • @hamsterhamz how do you know that stuff do you have medical training? I have a neck problem also but I found swimming helps alot

  • Does anybody know if chiropractors can manipulate the sternum? Every so often I will have tightness on the right border of my sternum and it will pop and the pain will go away. I haven't figured out how to self manipulate but it just sometimes happens. I know that a lot of chiros are quacks because they claim that crunching bones can cure autism, diabetes, etc. but I think that if they can manipulate my sternum it will help me for sure.

  • @MarathonVeteran yes-some can and will do a chosto-chondral adjustment that affects the rib articulations into the sternum.

  • @MarathonVeteran call Dr Dave 951 354 6294. In Riverside Ca.

  • @reydacosta isnt that in ottawa?

  • Might help to tell everyone that the "noise" that is heard is simply the fluid in the joint shifing from one side of the joint to the other through a vacum. Just like with our knucles.

  • You are the ONLY person on youTUBE to say "do not try this at home". That is very sensible advice. No one else warns you MUST be trained and qualified, so if you're not don't try it. It looks easy but you can't tell what he is feeling for and could cause a nasty injury. Always leave this sort of thing to professionals.

  • Why are people convinced chiropractors are quacks? They, literally, pushed bones and joints back into place. You can feel, see, and hear it happening.

  • @MostlyPerfect Go to google and search 'books at transworld trick or treatment'. The first result is a chapter from a book which has received numerous positive reviews, including reviews from two of the most prestigious peer review science journals around (Nature and New England Journal of Medicine). In this chapter the authors describe exactly what the evidence, benefits and dangers of chiropractic are. Read it and you'll get your answer.

  • @AllIntentionsToBreak Or you could go to university and study health science and research methodology and be able to have a skill set to critique the scientific literature directly instead of "googling" like a dimwit. Do you think researchers "google" when they search for high quality studies, or perhaps they pick up a book, as you suggest...and have the authors of the book tell them. Does education not matter at all to you?

  • @MostlyPerfect Quackery is when you sell people on the benefits of something without the evidence that what you are selling them in fact works. Which is what chiros do, and so to answer your question, which is why people consider them quacks.

  • do u have to take your shirt off?

  • If you hate chiropractic, that is your right. But, please do not hate a person because of his/her sexuality.

  • What does a chiropractor do ??

    Short Answer = Nothing

  • @phileustace you're ignorance is funny.

  • @Cheerguygccc

if my "ignorance" is funny then why did I get 5 thumbs up ?!

Obviously many people share my views on chiro-swindlers.

And I'm sure as time goes by those 5 thumbs are gonna go

to 50 thumbs and more ! And it doesnt imply that those people

are "ignorant" too it means that chiro-vandals are doing just that -

    VANDALIZING peoples backs !

  • @davepoole You won the bet! animonvietv recently walked through an airport x-ray scanner and was yanked out of line with the suspicion he was a woman dressed as a man. Chiropractic won!

  • I know I need to go but I'm so scared....somebody please help me!

  • @Lalahbug Don't be afraid. When you finally do you will ask yourself, "why did I wait?". Ask around...some of your friends will recommend someone good in your area.

  • @hfdc1 Why don't you give a good read of the Simon Singh scandal in the UK and take a long, hard look at what the BCA provided as supporting evidence in its attempt to intimidate Singh? This case, and the fallout from it, will further push chiro into the fringes and away from ever being considered legitimate. QUACKERY!

  • if you close your eyes he turns into a girl !! :D

  • @GanjaOnDeck You have a strange way of thinking about men, but each to their own in this diverse world. Shame you can't keep stupid comments that others might find offensive to yourself.

  • @urbex2007 shut up Lame-O

  • @GanjaOnDeck hahahahahahaha

  • @GanjaOnDeck omg i havent had a laugh like this in forever

  • @ionglacier lol hahahahahaha

  • @GanjaOnDeck nice

  • @GanjaOnDeck It sounds like he has no balls.

  • "" lerxt46 steer clear of these quacks. In their philosophy if the 6th dorsal vertabrae is out of place you will get diptheria..quack quack ""

Why do so many people think their opinion matters even if they have no basic understanding of how nervous system, blood system and all bone and muscular parts work in the body.

Read a book or sth, get educated, because you don't even realise how moronic you sound when you say what you said.

  • steer clear of these quacks. In their philosophy if the 6th dorsal vertabrae is out of place you will get diptheria..quack quack

  • @lerxt46 What are you talking about. So proud for being so ignorant.

  • I was injured by 3 Chiro's and my wife was injured by the first one she went to one and we have been in serious pain from the "adjustments" for 3 and 4 years. Chiro's=Quacks take my advice and never go or you will learn the hard way like us.

  • @animovietv and what if he is whats your problem? Douchebag

  • @animovietv and so what if he is gay? Do you want him? if not then you wouldnt care if he is gay.

  • @animovietv wtf does that matter?

  • @animovietv I would bet against him being gay. he has a soft voice and it a smaller guys but he has no feminine actions.

  • @goodlookin41

Don't let the fact that he was touching a woman fool you, look at the way he was counting on his fingers... Look at his eyes!

  • @animovietv the bloody hell is a quid? A type of squid? poster from texas

  • @sideim British Slang term for a pound sterling.

  • @sideim idiot

  • @sideim sorry wrong person

  • 20 quid that he is gay whos up for a bet

  • As a chiropractor, let me say that most people that come and see me are referrals from other HAPPY patients. We look at addressing the CAUSE of that pain rather than just masking symptoms. Osprey makes some good points. Many of us just focus on getting the spine working better mechanically without making "outrageous" claims. Like any profession, we have a need for improvement. But it's not fraud or quackery or whatever.

  • @DrTakker I am just curious. Is it true that chiropractors claim to treat 10 systems including visceral disorders, autism, hearing, etc. vs PT's who can perform the same spinal manipulations but only claim to treat 3 systems; nerves, muscles, and bones. Also how do you train to deliver babies in school? I am aware that it is in the chiropractic practice act in some states including Illinois to deliver babies. Thanks.

  • @AthleticsJunkie i dont think chiro's (at least where i'm going to school) are trained to deliver babies, i would send them to the hospital for that ... also, delivering a baby outside of that hospital scene could be very dangerous, during childbirth a lot of things can go wrong. and MOST disorders of the body, have some relation to your nervous system. if you make that work fine, the problems should fix themselves.

  • @AthleticsJunkie dude chiroquacks have got it all covered, they can even raise the dead..after taking worthless xrays and selling a package of quackery Pseudoscience

  • @DrTakker Looking at the cause of pain is one thing - fixing it is another. I feel that if someone needs maintenance adjustments, it's not about causes anymore or fixing anything. It's about masking some recurring problem.

  • @MachineAmbition It's not about masking...but you are right...some things can't be fixed, so in those cases it's it's simply about temporary pain relief. Ask your doctor how they "cure" arthritis. They will tell you to take Ibuprofen for the pain, exercise and good luck. So then the choice is do you want to take 16 Ibuprofen daily or decrease that number by the occasional 9weekly) adjustment which will ease the pain WITHOUT liver/kidney side effects.

  • @hfdc1 If that was the case, then the evidence would be overwhelmingly in support of chiropractic, which it is not. Using a hypothetical situation as a proxy for solid evidence when you are looking for support of your argument only works if there is evidence. How about chiros just DO THE RESEARCH? Is it because the profession is afraid of what it might find--that it is not effective in all those claims? Why does the chiro graduate not leave with a solid basis of scientific methodology?

  • With all due respect osprey, you impuning an entire profession as quackery is just as unenlightened as the business-minded chiros who claim to cure anything that you despise. As with anything, the truth lies somewhere in the middle. And there are millions of happy patients who know that first hand.

  • Hi, really nice video. May I ask how long did you spend putting it together? I am wanting to do something like this for one of my dyslexia clients in video marketing.

    Thanks

  • Questions to ask oneself? What is available to people if they want a natural approach to HEALTH care? Who does the Medical profession support more the drug companies or the patient? How is it that Chiropractic has survived the constant attacks made by Medicine and compete with the research funded by a billion dollar (drug) industry if it doesn´t have some form of effectiveness? Is Chiropractic for me? Chiropractic only supports your goals if you are in alignment with its principle!

  • dj: There is a vast difference between advocating on behalf of a healthy lifestyle, and making outrageous claims of curing people through spinal manipulation to reduce "subluxations", on the other. I suggest that you provide the supporting high quaiity research published in peer-reviewed journals, that supports any claims made by chiros, otherwise retract the fraudulent claims. Anything less is dishonest to the public. You talk like a Scientologist or other cult follower.

  • Here are some peer-reviewed studies that support benefits over standard medical care:

Low back pain of mechanical origin: randomised comparison of chiropractic and hospital outpatient treatment. (BMJ)

A comparison of physical therapy, chiropractic manipulation, and provision of an educational booklet for the treatment of patients with low back pain (NEMJ).

So, there is a body of research supporting limited benefits of chiropractic. Complete quackary? Nope. Cost-effective? Probably not.

  • @flottos Have you actually critically-appriased these studies for their quality? Do you know what that entails? Do you have the skill set and education to be able to provide reason for profeering these studies as evidence of anything? Well?

  • @flottos As for the studies that you suggested, and as it has been repeated elsewhere, spinal manipulation MAY provide some beneift for acute uncomplicated lbp. However, the evidence is not overwhelmingly in favour of this. I suggest that you refer to the review by Bronfort and read it in its entirety for a clearer picture (that certainly does not make claim that smt is effective for lbp.

  • @flottos I assume that if you are sending me the citations of studies that look at spinal manips and low back pain, then you might also be interested in a Cochrane review article (Assendelft WJJ, Morton SC, Yu Emily I, Suttorp MJ, Shekelle PG. Spinal manipulative therapy for low-backpain.). The authors conclude: "There is no evidence that spinal manipulative therapy is superior to other standard treatments for patients with acute or chronic low-back pain."

  • Chiro: For the construct "subluxation" there's no evidence that it exists or that "doing something about it" has an effect. The burden of proof falls on chiros show that the subluxation can be objectively demonstrated, that it does cause interference with the nervous system, and that it does cause disease. They have failed to do so for 115 years.

  • #2 Guardian, online: The statement, supported by just 29 citations, was ripped apart by bloggers within 24 hours of publication, before being subjected to a further shredding in the British Medical Journal. It emerged that 10 of the papers cited had nothing to do with chiropractic treatment, and several weren't even studies. The remainder consisted of a small collection of poor-quality trials.

  • Guardian, online: Further criticism has been focused on the BCA's presentation of supporting data, in particular its claim that a "plethora" of evidence backs the effectiveness of chiropractic in treating various childhood illnesses. Last year, facing demands that the BCA engage in scientific debate over its position, the association released its "plethora" to the public. Cont on #2.

  • Direct quote form the Guardian online: A staggering one in four chiropractors in Britain are now under investigation for allegedly making misleading claims in advertisements, according to figures from the General Chiropractic Council.

  • QUACK, QUACK, QUACK!

  • chiro: You have never once provided searchable research citations for any claim your profession has made. To use Google as your mode of searching the research databases for efficacy stidues is not even of a level of high school. Sorry pal, but you would never in a million years make meds. You keep cracking those backs and ripping the people off with your pearly white smile, telling them that they need to come back asap or else the magic will wear off. RIP-OFF!!!

  • chiro: SCAM-ARTIST EXTRAORDINAIRE!

  • chiro: You are pathetic pal. What kind of professional uses that kind of language, regardless of whether the forum is anonymous or not. It is a telling sign for anyone who reads your profane remarks, that your so-called "profession" is made of of the likes of you. Yes, come Monday morning, you will no doubt, put on your smily-happy salesman face and start a new week of ripping people off.

  • weversonman, hardly a defense i.e. "Sure there's a lot of corruption in medical health care, however.... Look weversonmun, I want you in a chiropractic office by Monday...STAT! LOL! Kidding aside, I mean it. A visit to a busy chiropractic practice and recieving spinal adjustments will do a ton of good for you.

  • chiro: You are pathetic. No wonder with your fuzzy logic you didn't make the cut for meds. Sorry pal, but there are lots of well-educated people out there, who see through the bs of what you clowns try to sell people under the guise of "healthcare". The Emperor has no clothes! Chiro is a cult, promoted by under-educated followers of "vitalism" and "subluxation" theories that are based in faith healing, not science. Try checking out the 21st Century.Try a career that doesn't rely on RIPOFF's.

  • chiro: Where is the evidence that spinal manipulations do ANYTHING more than a good placebo! Where is it shown that kids should receive spinal adjustments? Infants? Where is the evidence for this crap about infant colic being treated by chiros? I have asked you previously to provide a single, peer-reviewed research paper that supports the crap that you clowns promote and your retort is nothing more than gibberish intermixed with profanities. Pathetic, but not surprising. Save your money folks.

  • The funny thing is that using critical thinking skills is frowned upon by these snake-oil salesmen. They prey on the gullible, uneducated public who don't ask the hard questions (evidence?). Health care is a lifestyle choice and people should need to consult with a chiro, paying big bucks, to be told what they should already be doing. And this scientific fantasy-land of "subluxation" and "vitalism", is reflective of a profession without grounding in the 21st Century.

  • chiro = SNAKE-OIL. Why else won't chiros provide a sound scientific basis for all the treatments they claim are effective? I have asked this clown below for any scintific study that can support the myriad of claims he has made, but there is NOTHING TO SUPPORT THIS BS. Why would anyone take their child to a chiro? Insanity. Infant colic? Insanity. Maintenance visits? Insanity. Scientific underpinning? NONE! Chiro is like going to a magician if you've lost your pet rabbit--POOF!

  • chiro = RIP-OFF

  • chiro: So where is the evidence that supports the myriad of claims that chiros make? Why would anyone suggest that it is healthy or even safe, for a child/infant to have a spinal adjustment? What about these claims that chirs make of infant colic? Why does a person require "maintanence" visits? None of this is based on science. It is based on psuedoscience and the belief that science is bad. What is "vitalism" or "subluxation", neither having any basis in science. Chiropractic is BOGUS.

  • He has a female voice!

  • If there are readers here having questions on chiropractic and/or a career in chiropractic, please feel free to contact me if you have questions and/or need information. Chiropractic is the fastest growing primary health care profession. Chiropractic schools are full to the brim due to the millions of Americans looking to chiropractic for an alternative and/or compliment to medicine.

  • ospreyforlooks! Yo bumba-clot! Some chiropractic and medical schools combine their chiropractic and medical interns in rotations. More and more hospitals are providing chiropractic care programs. Chiropractic is not designed to address trauma or "treatment of diseases". Chiropractic's design is to address the underlying cause of disease= properly functioning nervous system and healthful lifestyle (nutriton, exercise, mental health (you need help here), environmental factors, etc.). Chiropractic!

  • chiro: Tell me which chiro school graduates have spent five minutes of their training in ER, oncology, nephrology, hematology, psychiatry, neurology, etc? None, idiot! You turds are so defensive, that you just cannot admit that your training is not anywhere near meds. Have you ever published a word of research? You are pathetic, and a poor ambassador for any profession with a mouth full of profanities that do far more damage than any critic. I bet you give a good shoulder rub tho.

  • chiro: If you see chiro as seeking to treat underlying disease, then why is it that your profession will not publish research on the effectiveness of its modalities on all these diseases? Answer: Because it is not effective in treating most conditions despite the ridiculous claims. You are salesmen looking to scam the gullible and uneducated. And you are in any position to tell the public that they should avoid vaccinations? For that single reason, your scope of practice should be removed.

  • chiro = $ for BOGUS

  • chiro = BOGUS

  • chiro: Type 2 diabetes does not require a chiro to tell them that they don't need another Whopper, but rather, get off the couch. Did you spend 50k on tuition for that? You are a whacko dude. Foul mouthed and pathetic, and way too angry to be in health care. Nice language. Ever consider writing a children's book?

  • chiro: Are you the most eloquant professional here on YouTube? When was the last neuroscience conference you went to talking like that? You are a foul mouthed trinket who thinks that what, that somehow your profanities are to be taken seriously? Chiro is snake-oil, it is a joke in the health science community. It is not even science-based, but pseudoscience, trying to seel itself to the most gullible in our society. Tell me, how does chiro actually work if it is so effective? LOAD OF BS!

  • Cracked my neck in class and I guess I moved a plate in my neck. Like the 3rd one whatever its called. Couldn't move the left side of my neck and hurt SO SO BAD! I went to chiropractor and she straightend my neck and cracked it back into place! I LOVE YOU CHIROPRACTORS!

  • 1:48

That's what I really need right now. T_T

  • "the bone moved" .... I love it...
