  • That was the best rendition ever

  • It would have been amazing to see live, but when the quality is that bad, I didn't even know they were singing until it was half over. I can't even tell who was singing.

  • Lee Thornburg was with Tower Of Power for a while.

What a great version of this song.

I have to save this to my favorites file now.

  • Tower of Power is one of my favorites, especially the old school line up. Remember, when Chicago was called Chicago Transit Authority. Kind of freaky, with all these years gone by, I am still standing, that's what is important.

  • I wonder who joined Walt,Lee and Jimmy playing the horns.

  • It looks like Lee Thornburg. He fills in for Lee L on the road when he can't make it.

  • Great job cleaning this & posting it --thanx! I saw this live -- it was unique & touching. I went to their concert & Robert told how honored they were to be asked to sing our National Anthem -- their first time ever! (If I were a promotor at any major sporting event I would have easily asked them before now!) There was also a short interview later at the game with Robert & Lee -- very fun, funny & informative! It is on YouTube somewhere...but thanks for all your posts people!

  • Robert Lamm is a class act all the way.

  • He always has been. He and McCartney both have always been class acts. They've never thrown fits or acted out in public like these so called musicians today or talked trash. Just enjoy what they're doing because they have talent. REAL TALENT. Very understated yet so classy. I hope they're around for a long time. Lord knows we need more like them.
