This was an excellent Eurovision entry but it was up against seriously heavy opposition in Apres Toi for Luxembourg which many including me regard as the best Eurovision song ever. That's why it didn't win.

I remember that night- clutching my Radio Times on the floor in front of the TV....ah memories! Peter Doyle and Eve Graham were iconic talents. RIP Peter-you were a legendary performer...and Eve please come back.

Ahhh the happy days of Eurovsion when there were dodgy line to the voting countries, Norway got nil points and Greece and Turkey never voted for each other! Good song too!

Very talented band. The girls didn't need to have ultra short skirts and tops with it all hanging out to help sell their records. Shame the same can't be said of many female singers today. Unfortunately it has got to a stage where sex sells rather than talent in many cases which is a shame.

I can hear an electric guitar but the chaps on stage are playing bass and 2 acoustics. You can see the bass player plugging in, in pre-radio mics and connection days. I presume there's a guitarist in the orchestra pit.

Great performance and a super song, way above Eurovision standards, and I actually think a better song than Waterloo!
