Capitalism is a foundational ideal of Conservatism. All Conservatives are Capitalists (although not all capitalists are conservatives).
Liberalism (in the modern popular definition, not the classic definition you're pointing out) involves more gov't intervention and regulation, which is always destructive to Capitalism.
Point is, conservatism is anti-thesis to socialism, regardless of classification. Because of their ideals.

It would be like saying that a picket fence is made of slats of wood painted white, so wood is white. They're not describing the same property of the matter, one is color and the other is composition. So too, is the concept of conservatism and capitalism. One is a doctrine and the other is a position relative to an argument.
Conservatism is a relative position regarding an issue, and cannot exist without a liberal counterpart on that issue, no matter what the argument is there would always be a yes position and a no position, while capitalism is a sociological-economic structuring of civilization, and could exist in a rhetorical vacuum. Whether capitalism is good or bad (and I believe it IS good) it cannot be the antithesis, counter, opposite, reverse, inverse, or negation of socialism. It just doesn't work that way

When the Republican Party began in the 1850s, it was divided into the business wing and the reform wing, known as The Radical Republicans. Lincoln rose from the latter. The Democrats were pro-slavery back then. The Dixiecrats of the 20th Century descended from them. The Radicals passed the 13th, 14th & 15th amendments after the Civil War. They nearly impeached Andrew Johnson, a Democrat who blocked Reconstruction.

Slight correction: The song was titled "Barack the Magic Negro," written by Paul Shanklin. The Pigman aired it in 2007 and 2008.
In December 2008, a white candidate for the Republican National Committee chair named Chip Saltsman distributed CD copies of the song to 168 members. He did so in the belief that it would help him defeat black candidates Michael Steele and Ken Blackburn. Steele won anyway.

Both men have/had the ability to convince people they were the source of truth and that everyone else was evil and lied. Its a shame that freedom of speech includes such audio sewage. I guess thats the price we have to pay for truths to recieve equal opportunity to be heard. We have to weed out the trash sometimes.

Conservatism isn't the opposite of socialism, Liberalism is the opposite of Conservativism,
Socialism is a different organizational structure than capitalism but not the opposite of it, and the Nazis were the Nationalist Party, as well as the socialist party, and it's primarily the Nationalist part that this video is referring to.

That is why there are always the conservative and liberal sides of a debate, where capitalism has the same principles regardless of issue. In addition, several Republican ideas, such as some forms of deregulation and tax reforms are actually technically liberal capitalism, as they advocate less government interaction.

Capitalism is a foundational ideal of Conservatism. All Conservatives are Capitalists (although not all capitalists are conservatives).
Liberalism (in the modern popular definition, not the classic definition you're pointing out) involves more gov't intervention and regulation, which is always destructive to Capitalism.
Point is, conservatism is anti-thesis to socialism, regardless of classification. Because of their ideals.

It would be like saying that a picket fence is made of slats of wood painted white, so wood is white. They're not describing the same property of the matter, one is color and the other is composition. So too, is the concept of conservatism and capitalism. One is a doctrine and the other is a position relative to an argument.

Conservatism is a relative position regarding an issue, and cannot exist without a liberal counterpart on that issue, no matter what the argument is there would always be a yes position and a no position, while capitalism is a sociological-economic structuring of civilization, and could exist in a rhetorical vacuum. Whether capitalism is good or bad (and I believe it IS good) it cannot be the antithesis, counter, opposite, reverse, inverse, or negation of socialism. It just doesn't work that way

Currently Limbaugh has between 350,000 and half a million listeners out of a nation of close to 310 million. And I'm willing to bet that at least a third of those people listen to his broadcast purely for entertainment purposes since his facts are often far from accurate. Rush is the king of hatred and he influences stupid people like yourself, so that remains a problem for the whole country. And you'll find most of the world hates Rush. You're in the minority, dunderhead.
