How can this guy call the building of a minaret "east of damascus" and painting it white a prophecy when muhamma himself didn't specify where this minaret was to be located? Ahmadiyya claim this minaret is in Qadyan, India. Most sunnis say it is in Damascus whilst other islamic sects claim it is symbolic (ie ismailis) and the list goes on. How can this be called a true prophecy if it hasn't even taken place?

Actually, I bet that a historical Jesus actually existed and his life and events were simply significantly altered in the retelling. Why have the awkward story of how Jesus of Nazareth was *actually* born in Bethlehem by inventing a census that never happened? The only good reason I can think of is to cram a historical Jesus into matching Old Testament prophecy; if it was all fiction it would have been trivial to make a coherent narrative.

@Phage0070 There is no need sounding vulgar here: Non Biblical sources talked about census that took place at different times during the reign of Augustus: Also, credible sources such as Flavius Josephus, Cornelius Tacitus and a few others testified that Jesus was executed in Jerusalem, when Pontius Pilate was proconsul of Judea and Tiberius as emperor of Rome. Anyway, I guess you know enough not to believe in Jesus as your saviour. I hope you don't end up as the moron on judgment day.

Again not the right time, not the right area, and furthermore the Jews were still under the rule of King Herod. Palestine was a client kingdom of Rome, so Augustus didn't even have the power of taxation there.

But Muhammed comes centuries later to deny this, thereby making Jesus a liar. Jesus is the only way to heaven and without Him all men are lost. I'm not a Christian or a Muslim. I'm agnostic. I think the Muslim belief is that some of the New Testament is inaccurate. But I agree, I don't see how he could come centuries after and claim some new, more accurate knowledge. That Jesus was crucified seems to be one of the things about him for which there is the most evidence and very few western historians and Bible scholars would dispute it.

@yasserjugoo1 this verse says that the jews did not kill him, yes, i believe it. I believe no one killed Jesus(as). He died a normal death. This verse does not mean that he was raised up in heavens. Think for a moment brother, and read the whole Quran. I can prove to you from 30 verses that Jesus (as) is dead, not in the heavens, but dead, like all the Messengers. I believe he went on and fulfilled his prophecy, which was to find "the Lost sheep of Israel", and then, he died a normal death.
