I'm in the market for an electric-acoustic, I was wondering as far as amps go, do I need to get an amp specifically for acoustic electrics? or will it sound good through my hotrod?. Thanks

well thats a tricky question. I have a Taylor electric acoustic and I play it through my Marshall tube combo and it sounds great. Of course a amp specifically for acoustic guitars will sound better than any other kind of amp, but if your tight on money, any tube amp will sound good
