Basically, it isnt very common but the worm thing can happen. Dont worry about it though. I dont feed mine womrs anyway, they get locusts and occasionally wax worms. Your leo will be fine just carry on with what you're doing and dont listen to anyone else.

The incidents you refer to are well known Old Wives Tails, AKA Fables. I think you need to calm down and just admit that it's all BS and move on.

Hey is it true that a sand substrate is bad for your gecko? And in the video did your gecko need shedding or was that just his/her morph?

@TheWillbraken Some people keep their geckos okay on a sand substrate; they're just more careful when feeding because ingesting sand could possibly cause impaction. I like to play it safe so I use reptile carpet or paper towels. Yes, he's a little dull looking in this video because he was about to shed. He's normally much brighter :) twitpic(DOT)com/16j26r

@Gehenna92 No, that is definitely a myth. As long as your leo is the proper size (not too small) and the prey are not too big, he will handle them just fine.
