nu-uh. any drum kit with the right post-production can sound good. I had a shitty unbranded kit once, if you stick decent mics on it, and heaps of reverb/compression, or even just trigger the hell out of it, you can get a listenable sound. If the drums were raw, then you could say "its good cause its shine", but this isnt raw :)

For all those who think this is 'Fake', ever heard of something being out of Sync? I have a DVD which is out of sync by a couple of seconds, does that mean it's fake? He's an okay drummer. Although i have to agree with previous comments that Cobus' dynamics in playing is definitely at a higher level. But it doesn't mean that this guys cant improve anymore. There are some parts where the rolls dont really fit the particular part of the song. hehehehe. try incorporating double notes to avoid a monotonous sound.
