This film was from the night time series, Playboy After Dark. At 2:05 you can see Hugh Hefner in the lower left corner, and the girl in the burgundy outfit on the right of the screen is Barbi Benton. Great song, boring series.

Although Playboy After Dark had some terrific 1960's music artists play on it in the I think I remember two and half years it was on TV (it was sort of the "Saturday Night Live" for musicians of it's time period, 1967 to 1969). Besides Brenton Wood, I know that at least Iron Butterfly ("In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida") & Strawberry Alarm Clock ("Incense & Peppermints") appeared on the show.

You're right. PAD did showcase some good musical performers. People like Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr. and Linda Ronstadt, along with those you've mentioned. I just remember that Hugh Hefner was no Johnny Carson when it came to interviewing guests.
