@stretchypants123 I agree, if they remade this game (and did a good job of it) I would not hesitate to buy it. They can definitely expand the series further, however from what I've seen with its successors and anime/manga counterparts they've all failed pretty badly. We'd need someone reputable to remake this game and make it successful.

@TheY2T This game brings back memories. So I don't want this game to be remembered as a failure. What I'm wondering is what exactly made the development make such a drastic change to their gameplay? You know what I mean? From having Overdrives and Spirit bombs or whatever in 2 & 3. It totally ruined the more real-like strategy gameplay from the original Toshinden game.

Battle Arena Toshinden is my favorite game out of the series. If I had the money and people-skills, I would remake the game.

Tekken. Sadly Tekken kicked Battle Arena Toshinden from the throne. My voice would have been for Battle Arena Toshinden. I really wonder, how B.A.T would look like today. for example the development of historyline and character evolution. i mean if the popularity of B.A.T where bigger than the one of tekken then.

correction sadly the the sequels were'nt as good as the first. Though 3 had some intresting characters and supers. What made them so horrible from the 1st was that you couldn't free form combos. It pissed me off so much dispite that 2 and 3 have some good addtions i can't stand but to play the BAT1

I use epsxe playstation emulator and FRAPS to record.

@TheY2T I also had psEMU, can't remember exact name of it, but couldn't load the music from Toshinden, too bad really, maybe I have to configure it more.

@gussinajninen yeah with some emulators you need to configure them quite a bit. On some websites where you can download the emulators you can also download additional drivers which help detect sound and video cards easier than the default drivers included.

@TheY2T I have big problems running the ps1 emulator correct... Wich emulator do you use? and additional drivers? I have this game on an Original demo disc that came with the ps1 when we bought it in 1995 called "demo1" and I would like to try the full version :) would be nice if you could help
