  • I love when in the morning i found these kind of amazing unknown bands

  • @mili150593 But the singer looks like a zombie lol

  • Master piece¡¡¡

  • One of the best songs I ever heard, so original and different than all the commercial music right now. Just perfect

  • Eight Legs - These Grey Days

This isn't like the horrors at. all. This song ^ is very similar :)

  • NEILS CHILDREN FOREVER!! <3

  • influence of Joy Division? rather it shows the influence of groups such as orange juice and josef k, and especially teachers gang of four!

...now all I want to associate with joy division because they have not heard of those years more groups

  • i like very very beatiful

  • i like

  • It's like the cure....of now

  • they're so cool ! ;D

    I hope they'll visit Mexico City !

    that would be great

  • you're fucking deaf as shit if you think the horrors and neils children sound the same. and i love both bands.

  • Such an excellent sound and an evident influence of Joy Division but still way too different from them...They`re just great

  • Stop saying HORRORS! Stop saying fucking HORRORS! Whats wrong with you fuckn EMO douchebags? This band is intelligent, hardworking and one hundred times more original than the FUCKING HORRORS! Stop saying Horrors and start saying Echo & The Bunnymen, The Cure, Banshees...

  • @seadonkeyridesagain

ey dickhole! horrors are amazing shut your mouth!

    And so are neils children!

  • Amazed from the first time I saw this...

  • don't be so pretentiously commercial, you sprectum of rainbow man sand WITCH"""

  • well in my opinion NEiLS CHILDREN is even better than The horrors.

The horrors are sorta more comercial, and i think comercial bands just wanna look nice and play anything comes out.

  • So you're saying that just because the horrors are more popular that they're commerical? and that's why you don't like them? thats pretty pretentious of you. Primary colours got nominated for the mercury prize, which goes on the merit of quality, which is why they're "commercial". X.Enc is years too late and a total let down and I did like Neils Children too so...

  • still think neils children is even better, the horrors has its essensia but even though

  • @gauri182 LOL the horrors are far from a commercial band. you're from mexico, the horrors are really trendy and popular over there so it may seem that way in your country, but in canada it's hard to find people who even know who they are. i love neils children, but talent wise the horrors are better. watch some of their interviews on youtube discussing their music, you might gain some respect for them.

  • Well look, I'm from England and I'm telling you The Horrors aren't commercial. You need to look in a dictionary, two words to look for: commercial & pretentious.

  • the cure jajaja

  • es verdad hahahaha

  • excelente!

  • ah there good :D

  • Orange Juice

  • I kinda know what you mean, not as heavily pop though. This follows a larger punk based 70's vibe.

  • sooo BRITISH. i like it!

  • its too amazing for words, so heres my interpretation..combining skip theatre...woah.. i have seen this thousands of times. pure excellence--ever loving fan xx

  • The horrors sound waaaay different to neils children. Just because they dress similar doesn't mean they're in the same genra of music, thats an extreamly narrow minded thing to think.

In fact the horrors have always dressed more mod then neils children who have always dressed similar to punk.

    So there.

  • people always compare and contrast when there isnt a good reason to.

    SHeeeeeet.

  • @kingcroak true. well, neils children dress every 2 years TOTALLY DIFFERENT. i'm so excited about their next album. i love soul.

I'M ILL IS THE SONG OF THE CENTURY! it's one of the only songs that I can listen to 1000 times and won't be boring

  • @FFtomtill New album? Soul? Summer 2010? HOMINAHOMINAHOMINA.

  • @kingcroak There is two different band named "The Horrors". An English (that's the one you tell) and an American one. The American is so much better than the english (usually i hate the american style). The American sounds like a 50's energic band as Neils children.

  • i want the lyric i dont found it

  • the new album is a natural evolution to the band: it's extremely well put together, these guys work great as a band.. interesting how tree guys (now minus one) can play & be a structure,.. while there's so much 5 piece bands that cant play for shi*...i friggin' love NC

  • hes an ugly ian curtis, sort of

  • oh dear. horrors rip off muchhh.

sorry, but the music is alright.

  • they dont really sound like the horrors? the horrors are like thrice as good, yer this is pre alright, not amazing

  • yeah, they dont sound like them, just the image.

the start of this video is very similar to 'she is the new thing' video, and the hair (in 'you didn't care').

but yah, its okay in terms of music (:

  • Neils Children came before the Horrors, predating them by six years.

  • i'll say again. the horrors do it better.

don't get me wrong, i'm not saying this is bad, but they are a bit too similar.

  • I disagree. "X.Enc" is better than "In Primary Colors". I'm saying this if you listen to the WHOLE album. Even so, Neils Children have changed their sound, so comparing N.C. to The Horrors at the moment is a waste of time I say. 2 Different bands from where they started.

  • Nay, they came before the horrors.

  • so? the horrors do it much better (:

  • there not really a rip of because they are really good friends with the horrors and toured with them, its just like saying your friends are a rip off of you :)

i'm not intending to offend you in any way here just to clear that :)

  • i know, i have seen them live (:

and my friends dont dress like me or have the same haircuts as me, so thats in a different sense, but i know what you mean, they are of the same genre etc.

    but they are TOO similar.

i like how thyre still kinda garage, unlike hwo the Horrors have now turned.

but yes, you make a good point, they aren't really rip offs. i apologise.

  • its fine :)

i really like the horrors new stuff its so 80's and joy divisionesque i admit its so different from the first album but i still really like it :)

  • it is quite amazing.

however it annoys me that some people are like 'AARRGGHH they've changed' and can't accept they've like, evolved.

  • yeah i'm not too bothered because i like the music , some people just dont like change

  • god the singing is terrible the rest is ok

  • OMG....reminds me soooo much of Rob Smith xDDD

  • Is it just me or do all these bands sound the same and if that's not the case can somebody please tell me what the appeal of this music is?!

  • the thing is, you look at any genre of music, and you will always realise that a majority, if not all, bands within that genre sound alike. More specifically in the subgenres.

  • keith left the band :(

  • wow robert smith's double

  • iiLoVe iiT !!!!!!!

    (L)

    LoL

  • Anyone can bring me the lyrics please?????

    i really love this song

  • love this song!

  • Ohh brilliant!

  • Great stuff!

  • whoa, nearly 13,000 views for this. Hope it translates into good record sales for them, they sure do deserve it.

  • with Brandon standing up playing the drums

im for some reason reminded of the video

"Ticket to Ride" by the Beatles

    dunno why

    :]

    anyone else?

  • GOOD

  • This song is very Cure-esque, Circa Hot Hot Hot, obviously with John's vocal style being unique

  • love this :D

  • neil's children are genius

  • well done boys! xx

  • john's haircut in this makes him look like Ian Curtis. But i like it. and the song, something new :)

  • Ummm, an entirely new direction for the band it seems. Alot more melodic, but still a great emphasis on the melancholy mundanity of life.

It's like nostalgia even though they haven't been around that long.

  • This song is pure MINT!

  • so bauhaus spirit music video.

  • sounds like orange juice

  • Haha... I go to the same college these guys studied at!!! WOOOOO HARLOW COLLEGE FOR THE WIN!!!

  • ii want the lyric jajajajaja someone help me!

    ajjajaja

  • ahh i miss keiths hair..

    why the cut all off!!

ughhhh it sucks i miss their wierd as hair

  • i dont. lame teenage girls (and boys too, i supposed) belittle good bands by placing too much emphasis on their image and style, putting their actual music on the backburner.

  • they really only ever really ripped off the nick cave's hair style. they never really ever sounded much like the birthday party at all...

  • i can play this song in guitar is so cool jaja

  • so fucking lovin it!!!

  • somebody can tell me where I can find the lyrics of this amazing song.

  • they're not terribly hard to work out.

it's a lot of repetition, too. maybe just google the name of the song.

    or google "totally fucking badass".

  • Wait what happened to their cool wacky hair!? D:

  • This is an good song

But the lead singers face weird me out

  • Are you serious? John's a hottie!!

  • Hoorah for skip theatre!

    They where Great at offset!

  • I <3 this! hoping to see them in Mexico soon.

  • Q ROLA GREAT SONG

  • this song really is amazing

  • This song is very Josef K with a bit of early Cure thrown in for good measure. It's lovely.

  • Great song, can someone please tell me what bass he uses in this video?

  • this song is so retro, so mod¡¡¡ is amazing¡¡

  • this has always been my fav neils children song and it always will be... I LOVE IT

  • I M P R E S I O N A N T E

  • o love youuuuuuuuuuuuuuu¡¡ boyssssssssssss please. come to peru'''''''''''

  • 0:47 it looks like John is wearing tights ha ha ha

  • (please):P

  • somebody can write for me the text? My english is very bad...!

  • :D, really cool ^^

  • That's simply ...GREAT!!

I can't wait for you to play in Rome at Micca Club on sunday 26th October!!

  • wow i love this

  • wow, kind of a new direction ya? more the cure. less angry post-punk. more light hearted? I love it anyways. i wish i could get all your songs! they're just so damn hard to come by!!

  • Absolutely marvelous!

  • i love it! it just makes me more impatient to get the new album.... i love your new style as well. fabulous song. xx

  • cooolll

  • awesome...
